WHAT MAKES US AFRAID? (Revised)

What makes us afraid?
Is it our childhood fear that we never seem to get over?
Is it the uncertainty of what the future holds?
Perhaps its something more trivial like missing our favorite show?
Maybe it’s going through life with one too many regrets.
It could even be the inevitability of becoming that which we hate the most.
So just what does make us afraid?
It is hard to say for sure.
Because that question lead to various answers.
I can however tell you what scares me to death?
It’s the thought of losing the person that I love the most.
Someone who constantly gives and asks nothing in return...
Someone who showed me how wonderful living can be...
Someone who excepted and loved me for me...
