Are you clicking file, save, then using that horizontal slider for quality? If you are stop

What you should do is click save for web. A new window should pop up. At the right are 3 buttons ok, cancel, and help. Below that is a drop down menu called presets. On the right of that should be a small circle with a triangle pointing right. Click that and specify the file size for optimum quality. big grin

Save for web

that way you can keep high quality at small sizes, it rocks. Usually I can keep my sigs at around 75 quality and under 30kb.
