Because there was a 2 second shot in the CW series when Anakin comes back from fighting & Padme sees his scar for the first time .. pans out to the coruscant skyline & we see the lights from her apartment go out.. THATS the conception of Luke & Leia.. in comic form.. kinda creepy in a way actually blink
