No, Voldemort wouldn't even get to the Requirement Room, only if he put the horcrux before he graduated the school. Thats the only reason Voldemort wanted to get the Defense Against Magic Arts teacher position, cause he probably wanted to stash something in Hogwarts. But there's dumbeldore in hogwarts, and many other people, wouldn't it be risky to put it in Hogwarts? What about Filch? I think he knows almost all the rooms and stuff like that. It's very tricky. And I think the detail about the tiara was put just to show that Harry hid his book well, and that so he knew it was his, it's a preety good detail to be put in IMO. Common sense. However I am totally against the idea of the Horcrux being Harry.
That is, of course, a possibility. It might be a little far-fetched if JK decides that Harry has already encountered most of the Horcruxes. If the tiara is one, he's seen them all now, except Hufflepuff's cup.
Anoth question: How was the portal thing (how Malfoy got the death eaters into the school) broken? Is it a possibility that Voldemort used that to get into the school late one night, then broke it himself? Well now that I re-read it...it sounds crazy...
It's a good idea, but I thought the Vanishing Cabinet was broken by Peeves in the second book?
Oh, and I take back the thing about Harry having encountered almost all the Horcruxes already as being too convenient. Coincidental connections like that have happened before. (Scabbers being Pettigrew, for example. Big coincidence that his owner became friends with Harry.)
harry wouldn't be a horcruxes because dumbledoor said there was some sort of procudure that u had to do. voldemort would know if harry was a horcruxes because he had to do the procudure himself, and he's been trying to kill harry for some time now. i never read anything about peeves breaking the cabinet in the second book. and how could the tiara be one, voldemort would have hidden it much better.
yeah i heard tht too about the last word being scar....and besides i dont think jk rowling would end her book with a phrase or a question....not her style
Are we discussing the missing Horcrux and who R.A.B is?

Then you weren't reading properly! Page 98 and 99 of my edition, allow me to quote from it. Filch says:
'That vanishing cabinet was extremely valuable'
after hearing a crash while Harry is in his office. Then after the bit where Harry discover's Filch is a Squib:
'Nearly Headless Nick came gliding out of a classroom. Behind him, Harry could see the wreckage of a large black and gold cabinet which appeared to have been dropped from a great height.
"I persuaded Peeves to crash it right over Filch's office," said Nick eagerly...'
I thought that I'd slip that in, being as I made all that effort to look it up...
I think the Horcrux is the trophy that transported Cedric and Harry to the graveyard. DD said that Voldemort wanted things of significant value and that trophy symbolizes a champion so I'm aiming towards that...
