I'm sure there was already a Shaman King thread I posted in...anyway I love it & favourite character's Lenny, Leigh Pi Long & Yoh. Leigh Pi Long is taken from Bruce Lee, since he's a great martial artist & Morty also said, when Leigh Pi Long turned into a dragon, "Enter the Dragon" which is one of Bruce Lee's most well known films. This is what I think anyway...
All this "Shaman King is too childish," is so wrong. I don't think it's childish at all & I'm 17, this year 18! Very good Shaman King & not for kiddy kids at all, it hasn't got that sort of storyline for kiddy kids. It's about ghosts, fighting & competition, then you got Lennies uncle who seems scary because he's big. Not scary scary but it's not exactly kiddy kiddy, even if it's a U.
Shaman King is 10/10 & one of the best anime's around! Thumbs up!

Oh & by the way, I know now who that guy is in your sig (when I came to your Lyserg thread that was closed & I didn't know who he was. In the last few days he has been in the anime & just met Yoh & the gang. He wants to fight them to see if they're worth challenging Zeek etc etc, his lose of parents was sad...
It was funny when Ryo fell in love with him & thought he was a girl, man that was halarious! "That's a dude!" says Tre or however you spell is name. I was confused when I was watching Ryo in love with Lyserg because I knew he was a boy & I knew they wouldn't show that sort of love in this show, so I was like "What?"
That thread you created should have been closed though because it's not the sort of thread that is allowed to be created. Just stating. There's a hot anime charactets thread somewhere so post there about Lyserg if you want.
One thing I thought about today was that in Yoh's little gang, there's five males in total & not one female. Female Shaman's do exist so they should have just one female in their gang...maybe they will one day... but I doubt it. It seems a bit sexist to me because boys can hang out with girls.
The only girls in the anime that are good is Tre's sister, Anna, that girl with the pink hair (grrr I forgot her name!!!) & Lenny's sister June. I think that's all but for bad guys that gang of five female Shamans.
Since Lenny's so different to the rest of them, I wonder what'd be like if he found a girl he liked.

i used to watch shamman king when it first came out, but it slowly began to bore me compared to the realy anime out there, it didnt fill that hole, but kenshin did
You shouldn't turn away man, you should still watch it, it's really good. I like to watch all sorts of anime though, a different varity so it could be just me...no watch it!

He is like that. You know, I hadn't thought of Yoh as like that but I had thought of Len being like Vegeta. Cold & was evil, but only becuase he was taught that, as the family moto went, "Destroy or be destroyed." Vegeta did what Frieza said; to destroy or his father would die. Yoh is sometimes too relaxed & should take things more seriously.
I feel sorry for Len for knowing all of what he was taught & he said himself for 14 years, he never socialised with any people other than his family. Poor Len. He's so calm too & not outgoing, but gets angry at times.
As for Horo Horo (Tre) & Ryo, they seem a little more outgoing. Ryo sings & tries to impress the ladies & Horo Horo seems to have bad luck so goes crazy. When he goes to the toilet, he never knows when he's finished....then no toilet paper, oh no!!
Both Tre & Ryo are the comedians in the show, not that wanabee comedian who is sooo not funny. Tre is one favourite of mine. He's cool, loves nature, funny & he's from the mountains with snow! I love snow! Len is another. Cool, calm, shy & embarrased (doesn't like to be too nice because he feels awkward etc.)
