on the dvd of justice league the new frounteir a myth expert they had on the freaturete talked about a myth concerning hercules racing hermes. does anybody know if that's true. and if it is and if herc did ok against hermes that's really something. i remember someone on here saying that all of herc's myth feats are cannon which would mean herc has super human speed.

Herc does have a certin degree of Super Speed. He smashed Quicksilver when he was running full speed. He has passed a car going sixty miles per hour and has ran a distance of approximately 50 - 100 meters in 2.5 seconds. Not to mention in Mythology he kept up with the Cerynian hind a deer granted with superspeed and he chased it for a year not only showing endurance but showing super speed.

It's not canon to the main 616 universe, as some characters have completly different origins and powers, and it's aimed at kids.

Actually it is canon. I'd like to get some scans for it but I can't do that stuff. In any case it was said before on this forum. Just go through the forums because I'm certain that I saw a scan of him holding up the Earth.

Marvel Adventures is not canon to the 616 universe
Or are you talking about 616 Hercules lifting the Earth?

Uuuuuh...no, it's geared for kids, and the peoples origins were not retconned in the main universe just here. It even takes place on Earth-20051

.....wow, their all under the Marvel Adventures line and their all set in the same universe as they share crossovers together and reference each other in their books
You're seriously the first person who has every tried to argue that it's canon
