Shauna gave a hard shove into the collapsed figure, and he tumbled off silently.
The lights flickered on, and Melissa stood in the doorway, eyes tearing, her freshly manicured fingers tightly gripping a small fire extinguisher, barely hiding the tremble.
Shauna heard the fire alarm sounding in the background and knew it was only a matter of seconds until the room exploded with commotion.
In a blur, Melissa was at her side hugging her closely, hiding her eyes from what was once her boyfriend, slumped on the floor, unconscious.
‘I knew it… I knew it. I’m so sorry Shauna I should’ve told you. I didn’t want it to be true.’ Her words came in gasps, ‘I hate him so much.’
A few moments later, Shauna was carried out by a burly teacher whom she did not recognise, Mel following out shortly, still shaking.
They were led into the office and seated in front of a frazzled looking headmistress, who eyed them silently. Shauna felt warm fingers interlock with hers and looked across to find Daniel at her side, a little too late, but there nonetheless.
She barely heard the questions directed at her, and formed silent words as a response, receiving odd looks from around the room. Her eyes began to well and she looked to Daniel in fright, who gripped her hand harder.
‘I don’t think she’s ready to speak yet.’
‘I’m sorry Mr Radcliffe but we need to get to the bottom of this before the police arrive, while it’s still fresh in her mind.’
Shauna’s breathing excelled and she dropped her head, placing her hands on her thumping temples and forcing air into her body.
Daniel rose from his chair, enraged. ‘It wasn’t a question. I’m telling you, she’s not ready to speak. I’m taking her home.’
Shauna stumbled from her chair, a queasy look passing over her face, glassy eyes attempting to find the arms that held her up.
‘C’mon Babe we’re just going out to the car okay? You don’t have to answer any questions.’
‘On the contrary Daniel. An accident has occurred on the school’s property while I was in charge. No one is to leave. Sit down.’ The last command came in a short sharp tone that almost made him think twice about leaving the room.
As if on cue, two police officers entered the room. Barely blinking at the heated scene, they crossed to the principal’s desk, requesting a private word. They promptly left the office and a hissed bickering could be heard under the door. Daniel shook his head in disbelief.
Melissa sat quietly in her chair, with an almost mournful look on her face. She hadn’t see the ambulance pull up outside the main doors; or the stretcher that was loaded into it, clearly visible from the broad office window.
The headmistress flung the doors open in a huff and sat behind her desk.
‘Very well. Do what you have to do.’
Shauna and Melissa were escorted from the office, taken for a short drive and ten minutes later Shauna found herself seated on a small couch, a mug in her hands, a blanket around her, and a young woman sitting across from her with a notepad.
‘Shauna my name is Dalley, how are you feeling?’
Her numbness began to wear off as she consciously took in the room.
‘Where is Daniel?’
Dalley smiled warmly. ‘He’s just outside for a moment. It was very difficult to get him to wait for you. Sweet boy isn’t he?’
Shauna just nodded and buried her face in the mug she held protectively in front of her.
‘Well as long as you’re comfortable Shauna, I just need to verify I few things.’ She set a small black recorder down onto the table. ‘You don’t mind do you?’ She gestured as she pressed record and Shauna shook her head, settling back into the lounge and taking deep breaths.
‘You’re not in trouble,’ The woman smiled reassuringly, ‘I just need you to tell me as much as you remember.’
Shauna bit her lip. ‘From the very beginning?’
Dalley nodded. ‘Of course.’
Daniel sat restlessly outside, cursing his mother for making him wait in the car at the school. Marcia was grief stricken of course, and if she had not needed to work, Dan was sure she’d be right here next to him. He hated the feeling that someone he cared about had been victimised when he should have been able to prevent it. Shauna made him feel less and less invincible everyday and he was starting to worry that worse things were coming; and he could only sit back and watch them happen.
‘You look more anxious than I do.’
‘Oh thank goodness.’ Dan leaped out of the chair and gripped Shauna tightly, pressing his lips to hers and squeezing her once more.
Shauna blushed a little and looked back to Dalley who watched on with a grin.
‘You’ll let me know won’t you?’
The woman smiled and nodded. ‘You kids be careful.’
Melissa was released from the station over an hour later, to find her mother waiting. Recognising that she was still slightly teary and probably sick of questions, she led Melissa gently out to the car, and when they were seated she only heard her mumble, ‘We’re moving again, you do realise?’

Shauna pranced out of Dan’s ensuite in an oversized shirt and pair of socks. She slipped her damp towel around his neck and kissed him firmly, collapsing into him a little.
He wrinkled his nose. ‘You smell good.’
‘I know.’
She leaned in to kiss him again, but he gripped her wrists from around his neck firmly, and pulled her away.
‘Are you sure you’re okay Babe?’
She grinned and nodded. ‘Perfectly.’
He eyed her warily. ‘You’re not.. Compensating.. For something?’
She stopped trying to touch him. ‘Of course I’m not. I just feel better now that it’s all over. Stop ruining the moment.’
He let her kiss him once more, letting himself fall backwards to the bed, and relenting as she straddled him.
She sat upright, putting her hands onto his chest to balance herself and studied his face.
‘What’s up?’
His serious expression did not falter. ‘I told you. I think you need to rest. I’m not doing this after today. You need to let it sink in.’
She sighed deeply, letting her head fall to his chest in defeat. ‘Dan… I felt bad for Mel, I’ve never seen anyone knocked out before, and I needed to get the story off my chest. To me, it’s all over. And I’ll keep saying it until you believe me. Nothing bad is going to happen to me now, there’s no need to dwell on it.’
She lifted her head a little, resting her chin on his shoulder for a silent moment; legs still firmly pinning him down, and letting her warm breaths fill his ear.
‘Make love to me Danny.’
She turned her head to meet his eyes, grinning shyly in anticipation.
She saw him give a little, but his body remained tense, arms at his side. After a short while, he flicked off the light, gently slid her off next to him and pulled the cover over them both.
‘Goodnight Shauna.’
She narrowed her eyes at him in the darkness and pulled his hands from around her, shuffling closer to the wall and eventually falling asleep.
Daniel awoke what felt like only moments later to find Shauna sitting upright, moonlight shining down to her skin and illuminating her entire form with a silky sheen.
Feeling him stir, she looked down to him. ‘You know what? I’ve never been on a bus before. Not here anyway.’
Instead of arguing with the absurd statement, Dan played along. ‘Never?’
She shook her head, still watching the dark stillness through the window with a sort of lust.
He rolled over. ‘Shauna it’s like a big car. Go to sleep.’
He cringed as a leg came into contact with his ribs as she attempted to climb over him in an awkward manner, collapsing to the floor.
‘Get up. We’re going out.’
‘Remember what I said about resting Shauna?’
Instead of arguing, she slipped the shirt off and pulled on a pair of jeans and adorned the tight-knit jumper she’d worn that day.
He reluctantly got out of bed and dressed, hoping she’d change her mind before they got outside.
Instead he found himself on the midnight bus, receiving odd glances from the elderly bus driver, with Shauna smiling excitedly beside him.
‘I hope you know where we’re going?’
‘I hope this bus is going where I know.’
Daniel groaned and fell back against the seat. A small tug on his arm indicated that they were getting off, and he found himself outside the photography studio.
‘How do we get in?’
Shauna held up the keys Marcia had entrusted her with, opened the door and disappeared into the still blackness, Daniel in tow.
She flicked a few switches, illuminating a set in the centre of the room, lined with a thick, sheep wool blanket, mahogany bench angled artfully to the side and various decorations lining the privacy walls that set it apart from the others.
‘Did I tell you I love this place?’
‘Dan sat down on the bench, looking around nostalgically.
‘Did I tell you coming here soothes me?’ He shook his head.
‘That all those times you could never find me I was here? Every time something went wrong I’d just sit in here, hold my camera, rearrange the set and sometimes not even take a single shot?’
He grinned. ‘I never knew.’
Shauna took advantage of his smile, angling the tripod that supported the ageing camera, and clicked.
‘Everything works for me here.’ She looked around, a certain wisdom glistening in her eyes. ‘Everything is okay when I’m here. I thought I’d bring you.. just so you know that. That everything is okay.’
He tilted his head to the side questioningly, relaxing on his palms, it all sinking in. He saw the shutter close quickly and smiled. ‘Will I be a paying customer?’
She nodded. ‘I don’t come cheap.’
She stepped over towards him and he rose, embracing her and kissing her gently. He heard a faint shutter noise and looked down to Shauna’s evil grin; an extension cord hidden artfully behind her.
‘Shauna…’
She backed off, grinning. ‘No please.. one more Danny?’
He sighed reluctantly. She gave a small shriek and ran behind the camera once again, adjusting the lens and then stepping back towards him, bitting her lip how she did whenever she was thinking.
She flicked her eyes up to his cheekily, slipping her fingers inside his shirt and easing it over his head. She then began to unzip his jeans and tug them down a short way, giving them a slouched appearance, before running back behind the camera.
‘Perfect.’
He gave a small laugh and shook his head, crossing his arms over his bare chest, feeling exposed.
‘Do I get a turn.’
She shook her head solemnly. ‘Never.’
‘Can I have my shirt?’
She looked down to her chest. ‘What? This one?’ She slipped her sweater off over her head, revealing her naked chest.
Daniel took a sharp intake of breath, watching her intensely.
She moved closer to him, pressing her bare breasts against his upper body. Leaning down towards her, he ran his tongue gently along her lower lip, slipping it into her mouth and closing his eyes. She felt his hands massage gently down her back as he breathed her in, lowering her steadily to the ground.
His already-loose pants gave way and Shauna slipped them down his leg with her foot; Daniel still focusing solely on the movements of her mouth.
Being in bed not an hour ago, Dan wore nothing underneath; with his pants gone, his bare form rested on Shauna gently.
She began to arch underneath him, a cool sweat forming on her sides, a result of the heat that their conjoined bodies formed.
Dan moved away a moment, only to dip his head once more, this time to her unclothed chest, kissing her lightly, as she moved restlessly underneath him. He slid downwards, building friction between her thighs, and slipping her jeans down as he went. Her thin underwear as the only remaining barrier, Dan took the moment to taunt her, blowing gently there, resulting in light moans from Shauna’s throat.
She threw her arms back over her head, gripping the thick wool in an unbelievable state of want, as she felt the light cotton slip down and over her ankles.
Her muscles contracted as his mouth made contact with her.
A flourish of pleasure overwhelmed her, all thought focused on the moist spot between her legs as Dan consumed her in a gentle pattern.
His arm reached up the side of her body, grasping for her hand which she offered limply, squeezing his tightly as the bliss amplified up her body.
He lifted his head a moment, glancing into her eyes which were now hazy.
She leaned forward, and Daniel, who already rested between her parted legs, found himself pushed backwards with a solid thrust as she straddled him once more, still breathless.
He remained almost upright, his face at her chest level. She gripped his hair as he tenderly laid kisses along her neck line, bringing further sounds of pleasure from her.
With the feeling of total, utter, ecstasy controlling them both, Shauna gripped his chest heatedly as he fell back to the soft floor, taking a moment to lean forward and kiss his lips one last time before lowering herself onto his manhood.
A guttural moan escaped Daniel at the initial contact. This excelled into a steady rhythm of breaths as she rocked against him at a quickening pace.
It wasn’t only the feeling of grasping him beneath her that excited Shauna, it was the big, spacious, open room, the light that shone in between the front blinds, and the unconditional feeling of comfort she had with Daniel.
Their sharp breaths came into unison as she steadied the tempo, pushing them both into a state of rapture, leaning forward, never letting go of his gaze as she felt him soften inside of her, still panting.
Shauna splayed her fingers on his face, dropping her head heavily to his torso; her hair sticking to their skin, now radiant with sweat as the light still illuminated them.
Eventually containing himself, Dan rolled over gently, coating them both in a light blanket that had lain across a setting chair, pressed his mouth to her back whispering a goodnight as they drifted to sleep.

yeah yeah. I just had my prom on tuesday and graduated not 3 hours ago!! It's been busy. I'm going away for a week on saturday so you'll have to hang in there...
33 (short one, sorry)
The warmth was stolen from Shauna’s body as she was gently, but sternly shaken to consciousness. Still sleepy, she rolled away from Daniel and let out a small whimper, her eyes still firmly shut.
His shuffling noises and frantic whispers eventually roused her attention and she opened her eyes with a start, omitting a breath as she realised where she was.
’Get up’
Shauna brought her closed fist to her eyes as she sat up, feeling Daniel’s hand clamp over her arm as he guided her quickly across the set and into the small developing room; shutting the door.
‘What are you doing?’
‘Get dressed.’
’Daniel’
He shoved her clothes into her arms. ‘I mean it! Mum just pulled up. She’s unpacking the car.’
Shauna stood silently in stunned paralysis as Dan fiddled with his pants. Must to his frustration, she let out a small giggle.
‘What could possibly be funny?’
She shook her head, slipping her jumper over her exposed torso. ‘It’s nothing. I just can’t take you seriously when you’re naked.’
‘You seemed pretty serious last night.’
‘You weren’t yelling at me last night.’
Giving her a stern look, and quickly noting that she was now dressed, he promptly shoved her outside and slammed the door. The loud noise brought footsteps into the room and Shauna attempted to slink behind a sofa a little too slowly.
‘Shauna?’
Still hidden behind the couch, she inhaled steeply and stood up. ‘Morning Marcia..’
Marcia checked her watch, baffled, and set down the equipment that weighed her down.
‘I didn’t think you’d be fit to work. That’s why I didn’t wake you this morning.’
Shauna heaved a sigh of relief. If Marcia had come to wake her, she would be much less calm than she appeared now, seeing as Daniel’s bed was very much empty.
Hoping the expression on her face resembled somewhat of a smile, Shauna pushed the sleep to one side to muster some reasoning.
‘It’s sort of the opposite actually.’ She bit the inside of her cheek. ‘I was kind of restless so Dan brought me down here. Thought I’d get a head start on things.’
Marcia nodded, appearing as if she understood. ‘So where is he?’
‘Who?’
‘Daniel!’
Shauna laughed nervously. ‘He went to get us breakfast.’
‘It’s not even six am. Nothing will be open.’ The critical confusion in her face returned.
Shauna felt her face flush with guilt and pretended to look over the woman’s shoulder so she wouldn’t have to meet her eyes. ‘Well, um, I suppose he’ll be back very soon then.’ She stood awkwardly for a moment and crossed to the photo-shoot setup where they’d slept the night before; praying Marcia hadn’t noticed the disarray.
She cleared her throat. ‘Well I’m glad you’re doing better dear.’ She looked around for a moment. ‘I think I’ll open some windows in here.’
Shauna shut her eyes in relief, tossing the blanket over her shoulder to be laundered and shoving her mess of bed hair from her face. Marcia’s ignorance was something she was grateful for in moments like this. She glanced back at the door; behind which Daniel sat silently and smirked to herself, stroking the pocket which held the only key.

PROM AND GRADUATION WERE FANTASTIC!!
I also just got home from schoolies week which is like a massive party for over 100000 graduates. here's more..

Adrian eyed the doctor wistfully as he looked over his chart, scribbling notes.
‘How have you been feeling?’
‘Fine.’ He responded on a low-strung, aggressive note.
‘And your eating habits, are they regular?’
‘Fine.’
‘Have you had any migraines? How’s your head?’
‘Just fine.’
The doctor gave no reaction to Adrian’s bitterness, but instead slung the chart back on the end of the bed and promptly left the room.
With each dull thud that sounded in the back of his head, Adrian felt his remorse and self pity grow to massive proportions.
He went over his careful steps in his head, setting himself in the firm belief that it was everyone else who had misunderstood him.
Every movement had been perfect. He’d noticed everything about Shauna that Daniel had refused to acknowledge, and he set about making ‘them’ work.
Instead he’d woken up from a blissful dream with a bleeding head and charges against him.
‘So it’s true? You almost look as pathetic as I thought you would. It suits you.’
He glowered up at his step-sister Dipti who stood over him, hands resting on her slender hips.
‘I liked you more when you weren’t here.’ He retorted.
Dipti raised her eyebrow cunningly and continued to stare down at him.
‘No please’, he gestured sarcastically, ‘take a seat.’
There was no one who made him feel worse about himself than her. His mother had returned from a business trip in India two years ago with a new family in tow and he’d detested his new sister instantly. She was older, smarter and more attractive than him, as much as he hated to admit it. He got his relief when she turned 18, signed a global modelling contract and was off around the world.
But she was back.
‘I met Melissa.’ She clucked her tongue, summoning another bitter remark, ‘Pity you had to ruin it by stalking her friend.’
He cringed when Melissa was mentioned. She was another person to worry about and she suddenly reminded him so much of Dipti it made him sick.
Dipti scratched a non-existent itch on her chocolate skin, waiting for a response. After a silent moment she sighed and looked back to the door, contemplating leaving.
‘Well she knocked some sense into you in more ways then one; you haven’t tried to hurt my feelings yet.’
Adrian still said nothing, suddenly feeling ashamed and not meeting her eyes.
‘I’ll find the door out’ She muttered and left the room, making him jump as the door slammed shut.

Deidre had Jai utterly confused. It wasn’t so much how they’d interacted lately, but more to do with his current state of mind.
Not once had he spent so much time with a girl and not found them a waste of time and completely dull. Not once had he held a proper conversation with one, let alone go out of his way to talk to them, which he did with Deidre every morning. And not once had he even considered them as more than a reason to make himself feel better.
Yet here he was, sharing his personal space with someone he once loathed, in a situation that not long ago would have appeared suffocating to him, and he was loving every blissful minute of her.
He stepped wearily into his room, letting his bag fall heavily to the floor and glancing around. Deidre’s tiny frame lay curled near the top of his bed, various novels scattered around her and a half-filled glass occupying his bedside table.
She shifted a little at the disturbance but did not wakeup. He was glad things had settled down for her lately. Her mother had accepted that she was not coming home and rang her frequently, brought her things over and supported her financially as well. But Deidre had seemed content just being away from home at the best of times.
He lay back on the bed cautiously, being careful not to nudge her, and watched her steady breaths in contemplation. Her light hair was pulled back roughly out of her face and loose strands hung limply over her closed eyes. Her cheeks held a natural flush; whether it was the pregnancy or if it had always been there, he was unsure.
Even curled over, her growing abdomen was exposed slightly and he found himself reaching out and running two fingers lightly over her skin. She shuddered in her sleep, putting her hand out instinctively and gripped his fingers, shuffling forward slightly; her head coming to rest on his shoulder. Upon realising that he was comfortably trapped, he gave in and gently fell into unconsciousness beside her.

Jess had certainly been enjoying the commotion. From a distance, of course, but it was still just as worth while. She saw something so satisfying in the fact that everyone else’s life seemed to be falling apart as well. What irritated her is that no matter what had gone wrong, who had been hurt, and whatever had gotten in the way. Nothing ever disrupted Daniel and Shauna’s relationship.
Usually she didn’t think it would be worth the effort, but her feelings had changed towards Shauna. A lot. And she was prepared to do something about it while they were still blinded by the attack from Adrian.
