i got inspired by the tron movie to make an RP but i don't know

I'd like to offer my idea for a role-play. I'm not sure if I'll have time for it, but how about this.
Back to the Future: The RPG
Doctor Emmett Brown, his wife Clara, sons Jules and Verne, Hill Valley former bully Biff Tannen, skateboarder Marty McFly and his girlfriend Jennifer, are open for playing. No created characters are allowed for use, unless it's a relative of the past (Buford 'Mad Dog' Tannen), present (a cousin of Biff Tannen, of your creation), or future (Griff Tannen) relative. Both the train and the DeLorean would come into play, with the latter having been rebuilt for Doc's own personal use as a 'spare', if in the event something were to happen - as the train itself is pretty noticeable as is.
In tune with the animated series, this DeLorean allows the user to not just travel through time - but to the specific locations as well. As such, he'd be able to go from 1894 London or 1631 France, etc. You get the idea. That helps not limit the areas to just Hill Valley, but to other locales which might test everyone's skills.
The Plot: Marty has borrowed the DeLorean with permission from Doc to do some research on the famous Robin Hood for his final. Naturally, it being a history assignment - and gradually tight-fitting band gigs for his group, The Pinheads on the side - he wants to take the easy way out to just 'be there himself' and get information from the source. He's now in the 12th Century.
Doc, present day, and his family, have built a machine which keeps track of either of his machine's present use. It acts as a security system of sorts; if anyone without access goes for either machine, or tampers with time unknowingly, it reacts and begins reading off display of what goes on. Upon realizing that Marty is beginning to flaunt and impress the people of early era England with his mad skateboarding skills, the women, and so on - Doc rallies up the group to get him out of there.
Otherwise, Marty will just become the 'real' Robin Hood, as opposed to the one made famous.
The Set-Up: Doc and his crew will already be in the right timeline, now it's a question of where to go, what to do, how to do it, to retrieve Marty. That's the bulk of the RP. If anyone wishes to play characters of the time period, they may do so. Avoid being shot at with arrows, beheadings, and so on - and be careful - as time-travel as proven to be a risky, shaky bridge.
Character Guide:
Doc Brown - the eccentric scientist who invented time-travel from the beginning. A lot like the Mad Hatter, and overly excitable.
Clara Clayton - a teacher from the 19th century, who fell in love with Doc Brown for his love of science, and Jules Verne the author. Supportive, and since the end of the third film, has gradually been able to keep up with the modern period as it is.
For the record, it's 1986.
Jules and Verne - young, aspiring students who are just as intelligent as their parents... but their risk-taking, child-like innocence and exploring nature more or less makes them somewhat of a hazard. They don't know any better.
Marty McFly - an aspiring musician who succeeded with his deal, and is now doing small gigs in Hill Valley and the California area. However, this is conflicting with his schoolwork, and the pressure is mounting. Finals are due for one of his worst classes, and he's gotta rely on Doc to make with the goods to help him out.
Jennifer - Marty's girlfriend; supportive in every way. However one decides to play her, go for it, as she doesn't appear enough and we don't know much about her from the movies.
Biff Tannen - the resident Hill Valley bully, now a mere shadow of himself and Marty's dad's resident whipping boy. He waxes cars for a living. However, a part of him still hides vegence for what George and Marty put him through back in 1955. In the cartoon, he seems to have relatives no matter WHAT the timeline may be.
Eintsein - well, he is a dog...

While I may be new to this site, I am anything but new to the fine arts of text-based role playing. I'd like to throw out an idea for an RP based off of an ever-evolving enemy.
2012: Most nations across Earth are enveloped in a global war. This war left millions dead, and even more without food or shelter. Dead: 314 Million.
2021: The global war, known as Man's Dusk had finally ended after an unknown group released a bio-virus that effected the living soldiers. The spread of this virus was uncontrolled, and eventually effected numerous nations across the planet. Dead: 1.01 Billion.
2023: After the release of the bio-virus, the survivors are left with a hellish world filled with the virus' victims. Rumors of a safe zone are started in the farthest reaches of the Russian Tundra. These however are only rumors.. Dead: 5.1 Billion.
In complete secrecy, an unknown army commissioned the development of a strain of Rabies that had been manipulated to no longer kill the host. The victims were left with a swollen brain and only the most basic of instincts in order to survive by. They were unmanageably violent, and attacked anyone they saw. The infected seemed to have an insatiable hunger for human flesh, as well as any other meat they could get. In certain cases, this virus could spread from as little as skin to skin contact from an infected. Though rare, there were certain individuals who had a natural immunity(Those who had at one point had rabies) to the virus. After literally years of radio-silence, anyone with a CB Radio began to hear rumors of a safe zone for the survivors in Russia. These however were just rumors, and only the most desperate of survivors ever tried to make it there, and those who had, were never heard from again.
This is the story of a group of survivors in the ruins of New York trying to fight their way to the supposed promised land in Russia.
