The world is Flat

Which Definition fits better?

Opinion : A thought or Judgement which Cannot be Verified.

Theory : An Assumption made with Limited Knowledge.

Verify: To determine or test the truth or accuracy of, as by comparison, investigation, or reference.

They Verified the world is round...so therefore they verified the truth, or accuracy of the statement "the world is Flat" nope doesn match the definition of opinion

Assumption : Something taken for granted or accepted as true without proof.

Did they have proof the world was Flat? Nope. Was it accepted ? YES by most back then. DOes this match the definition of Theory? Yes it does actually.

But for someone to argue that since this was believed hundreds of years ago, it's fact? Utterly ridiculous. We don't live in the dark ages anymore.

But you could say that watching the sun rise in the east, arc through the sky, and set in the west could be 'observing' it revolve around the Earth.

Here's a theory for you. Imagine this debate is metaphorically placed inside the universe, in correct proportions away from your misunderstanding of it.

If the debate was...in Oxford Street. The top end, down near Selfridges. Yes, let's theorize that the debate is placed inside Selfridges, near the cosmetics counter (the front one).

In relation, your understanding of the debate would be just beyond the planet Saturn.

Opinions and Facts are just types of statements. SOciets warped their definitions. Do some research on it. Look in an oxford English Dictionary or something.

Why do you have to be a dick about it? I dont see you having any proof that it backs you, nor do i think you actually have a OED . Anyway Im not wrong, whatever just drop it cuz i find on forums no one ever admits to being wrong. /shrug so we will both argue forever.

Anyway back to actual music Discussion...anyone else find it Atrocious that the Rolling Stones are #67!!!!!!!!!!!!
I mean The New York Dolls and Joan Jett are ahead of them! Stones should be Top 15 at LEAST, on my list anyway.

I think Rolling stones, Stone Temple Pilots, Smashing Pumpkins, Nine Inch Nails, and a few others should be higher...some much higher like the Stones.
