Resident Evil: Brazil Incident Character Creation and Rules Thread.
Before I get to the Character Requirements I have a few Ground Rules to present. Some of you will undoubtedly not like these rules, but i have used them in other Rps with great results.
1. For those of you who don't know what a God-modder is, allow me to explain:
A god-mode-character is one who never seems to be badly wounded, always recovers "miracously" from any kind of condition, being unconsious, bloodloss, poison, broken limbs, etc...
Remember: ALL OF OUR CHARACTERS ARE MORTAL AND CAN DIE AND BE MORTALLY WOUNDED!
The death of a character is just the birth of a new one.
2. Be patient with posts. Not everyone is able to be online 24/7... this is the point with play-per-post, that you should be able to be a part of it even if you're not online everyday. If a character hasn't posted in a LONG time (I'm talking 7 days or more), someone should be able to play the character without injuring or kill him/her or do something too drastic to change the plans. This is in rare cases when the absence of that character holds up the ENTIRE RP. (I also think that maybe you should get permission from that person about this.) There is a couple of fellow Rpers that i will trust my characters with.
3. All posts, will very few exemptions must be at least six sentences long. this is so the other person has something to go off of. It gets real hard to play off something you’ve said if all you have is one sentence.
4. RESPECT. Respect the rules, respect the Mods, and respect others. This is the second most important rule. The rules must be followed or you will suffer the consequences. If one of the Mods asks you not to do something, than don’t. They are the final authority here. Respect others. anything that is dealt with privately must be done through the messaging system (PMs.) do not purposely provoke someone in the out or character sections.
Above all I want everyone to have fun. If someone has a question about the Rp or the rules please feel free to ask.
With the exception of a team of U.B.C.S. soldiers that I and one other person will be controlling all characters must be regular Civilians; Students, cops, gun store owners, etc. None of these characters will be allowed to start with any High-powered weaponry. The UBCS team is only here to help the story progressin certain areas. Each character has a fixed amount of Item slots. Certain weapons use more that one slot, and you can find certain things to expand these slots, but i will let you know when an item is around. To see who gets the item will be down in the traditional thinking of a number between one and 20 through PMs.
I will also be playing a regular citizen as will be the person i have chosen to aid me as the UBCS Squad.

Sorry, but the Desert Eagles and the shotguns are 'High-Powered Weaponry'. You can have can have a 9mm pistol or survival knife, or even start without a weapon. Besides you only have 6 slots to start out with, but you want to start with 8. When I stated that I wanted to everyone to be regular people I guess i should have stated that they excluded STARS. Everyone wants to be them and it can get rather boring. A school teacher that has never shot a gun before can be intresting. The Personal background is basically the characters life story, not their ethnicity. That goes under Skin tone, and you never filled out the strenghs or weaknesses.
This doesn't matter as Ush will probably close this down anytime soon now.

Weaknesses/Dislikes: Snakes. At a very young age he was leaving his country with business trips with his mom and dad. Until he was visiting the zoo he was attacked by an escaped python. He woke up in hospital three days later. Since then he never left his country until now

Luckly the passenger was at the other end of the plane to him it seemed that that passenger was making a lot of noise and fuss

Okay I still need a Background history. Not everyone knows martial arts, and you need to have a reason to know lockpicking. As far as i know Modeling is not a class taught at most legitimate colleges. and where are your items. Good profile Dark, but feel free to elaborate more on your Background. Believe me mine is going to be extensive. And before i forget I am adding a special item for each character. Lighter, photograph, cigarettes, etc. small stuff that shouldn't take up an inventory slot.
Personal background: when Nevia was 10 here mother was killed and her dad was never around after his lay off .at 11 she lived on the streets begganing , breaking into homes for a piece of bread.6 mths later a rogue by the street name of wolf took her under his wings.Like Nevia's dad he had a life to as a Ninjitsu teacher.Wolf's granddad was placed into jail countless times for Grand Larson.Wolfs granddad showed wolf how to pick locks.Befor wolf died her showed Nevia every skill he had.at 12 Nevia was found and placed in a family.as of now she is majoring in cooking.

If Im not allowed have karate Ill first of all Ill change my strenghts/likes to: Collects swords so when given a knife he'll know how to use it (Is that Ok) And he knows a lot about chemistry.(If Im allowed have karate)
He is a green belt in karate he doesn't know a lot of karate but enough to defend himself from muggers or a zombie.
(Im going to elaborate on the backround)
Backround: He was born in Ireland and ever since he was a child loved to get away from his home country and see the world. This often happened. His mother was the Ceo of DELL computers and his father was an accountant for the infamous Umbrella corp. His parents were always going on business trips for there companys and Andy always went with them to fufill his dream of seeing the whole world. When in california Andy went to visit a zoo with the hired nanny his parents got to look after him. While the nanny sat down for a rest Andy snuck off and accidently found a door to a pythons cage. He opened it and it would've seemed that the python was waiting for someone to open that door because as soon as Andy opened it the python bit him. He was in a coma for three weeks because of the pythons poison. Ever since that day Andy was afraid of snakes. After that incident he never left Ireland again. When he was Fifteen Andy really showed an intrest in chemistry. His father who was an accountant at Umbrella managed to sneak some chemicals from the company and Andy would have a great time trying to figure out what they were. But he found a small tube full of an unknown chemical in his dads study. His dad was keeping this chemical from him. When Andy tried to analyse this chemical it was like nothing he had ever seen. Afraid that it was a new form of toxin or acid Andy returned it to his fathers desk and tried to forget what he saw. Two years later his father was killed in marseille, France by a gunshot wound. When the police found him his car was wrecked and all his money and ID were taken. The police beleived that this was a result of a robbery gone wrong. For three years Thats what Andy beleived. He started Karate so that the same thing won't happen to him when the time comes. He also never went anywere without his trusted survival knife. When he was eighteen while he was rooting through his attic he found the mystery tube and a note from his father saying:
Son if your reading this then I am dead. I was not killed by accident. It is more than likly that I was killed by an Umbrella assasin. You are probably holding a tube of chemical that you cannot identify that is because it is a chemical from Umbrellas underground facility. I beleive that this chemical is dangerous and must not meet the air because if it does it will be the end of our home. If you can ID this or give it to the infamous stars team then we will have taken them down. I beleive you can do it. I will be with you in spirit.

After reading this Andy went to college hoping to be able to identify this substance. For one year he wasn't able to ID this substance. In the middle of his second term Andy was asked to work for Umbrella part time. Andy accepted knowing that Umbrellas equipment was the best and that with this equipment he would be able to ID the substance. During his first week he managed to ID the substnce and with the help of the computer Andy ran simulations on what this thing could do. If the computer was right this chemical did exactly what the STARS said it did. Andy started to give information to a STARS member known as Chris Redfeild. This was going on for two years and then the company started to get suspicious about Andy. But luckly at the same time Andys friends graduated and so did Andy and they all decided to travel for a while. They went to Greece, Italy and Brazil. The next stop on the list was Houstan Texas were they would get a car and drive across america. Andy hoped on this because a mysterious man named Trent agreed to meet him in washington near the white house. But on the plane ride there a passenger was acting very odd and causing a lot of fuss. Luckly the passenger was at the other side of the pane near the cockpit!!!
Extremely good Dark. I never said there was anything wrong with the original, just that you could write a more lengthy Bio for him if you so chose. For being good with a knife, just say he has some experience through camping. Knives are good protection when in the wilderness. (if not old enough to own a firearm in my case.) Feral I am sorry, but i would like to keep this realistic. I.E. No ninjutsu, bladed staffs, cliche runaway stories. It's all been done before. I desperately wanted to start out with a katana, but that also has been done before. It should be like Resident Evil Outbreak 1 and 2 as far as weapons go. Karate is ok because you can find many dojo's that teach you in America, Ireland, or other countries. Ninjutst is an exclusive art taught (Truly) in Japan by Sensei Maasaki Hatsumi. (SP?)
I realize that in RE: Outbreak you can 'make' a flimsy Spear from duct tape and a wooden stick, but the overall point is to improvise some weapons, I.E. in the game. weapons that put distance between you and the undead are preferred.

At 18 he decided to attend the Houston Art Institute once he graduated High School. He just moved to Houston and found a nice apartment near the Institute, but most of his belongings are in a storage building at the other side of town. When the outbreak begins he is on his way to retrieve his stuff to put in his apartment.
