I suppose Brick can be, the whole going berserk thing can be fun but all you do is run up and punch them. I thought that him being the tank would get some specialty in shotguns, but he doesn't. I don't really use rockets and the grenades I tend to use have the Transfusion Mod. I like Lilith because of her versatility and ability to slow them down and daze the enemy. Roland is good because he can basically have infinite ammo (it regenerates pretty fast) and he can heal himself, the specialty in shotguns are just icing on the cake.

Well there are a few in the game that have an increased fire rate thankfully. I tend to have two equipped, one that fires fast and another for pure power. A fire combat rifle and a sniper for when I need a head shot.
I will agree that Revolvers suck horribly. They're two slow and inaccurate for me.
