I know it sucks, but it tends to make me feel better. Feel free to hurt your eyes if you wish.. This one is about the faith man put into a God, and how it's so futile, on God's part..
Jesus What Were You Thinking? Adore me, as I levitate.
Praise The Lord, He is good.
You tied me to a bloody cross.
Still I love you, as I should.
Jesus, what were you thinking?
I was thinking of the Romans, my son.
Jesus, did you lose your mind?
It's about thier salvation, not what they've done.
I turned your filth, to water that's crystal clear.
Still you patronize..
You spit on my face, you call out my heresy.
I am the son of God, I still don't fear.
Jesus, what were you thinking?
I was thinking of the Jews my child.
Jesus, they're just not worth it.
Just wait, they're hostility will soon turn mild.
I fed the hungery, hanged my head in modesty.
Tormented and beaten, mankind fealt need.
All because I'm the son of God.
All because I'm the prodigy.
Jesus, what were you thinking?
I was thinking about people not yet born my brother.
Jesus, you didn't change mankind's thoughts.
That's why God revelationed there would be another.
Seriously, yeah. I'm not much into religious or even political poems, and such, b/c they're opinionated and it's not my thing to have poetry appeal to only certain people... but this was very well done.
