(screw secrecy for Drizzt, it's not real hard to figure out, and he doesn't really have exploitable weaknesses. And yes, this is current Drizzt, not underdark Drizzt. And he doesn't get Guenhwyvar, which was his only non-passive magic thing)
Disregard all parentheses.

The next couple picks weren't easy desicions, but once you let something bend the rules, you open the door for other stuff. Not that I think these are more powerful than other picks (because they're not) but just that they had to have some powers stripped from them to make them acceptable.
The first is Spider-Woman III, going by simply Spider-Woman in her bio (or Martha Franklin). She's been stripped of her flying abilities, so she's pretty much like the spider-fill-ins that have been chosen already (Scarlet Spider, Doppleganger, etc.).
The next is Darth Maul...probably a not-so-subtle counter to Grievous. But we're pretty much stripping him of the Force. No telepathy, no telekinesis. He can use it like a spider-sense (or Force-sense) to aid him slightly in battle (like when Jedi block blaster fire), but nothing else.
I'm beginning to see the woes any tourney director will have to deal with when running a tourney here...but nearly everyone has had something small taken away from their character (glider, magical panther, foot rockets, flight, telekinesis, etc.) so I don't think it's being terribly unfair to anyone.
Same rules will apply for lightsabers that we made for Grievous...I'll post them all again soon.
I don't remember most, but a few stand out that I remember...
Plastic Man, Duncan McCloud (Highlander), Maelstrom, Bishop (from a few people), Hulk (not kidding), Terminator, Multiple Man, The Spot, Machine Man. That's all I can think of right now, but there were others. LP alone PM'd me probably 20 different people before drafting, about half of whom were too powerful.
The Spot would own a lot of people if he was smart and had any other powers (like any amalgam will). Sorry there.
A few things...
1. We're done with this round. The next round will start...um...we'll go with Sunday for now.
2. I'm beginning to see that we're going to need an extra thread after drafting. I want to PM back and forth with all participants and establish everyone's standard equipment (not now though...in the upcoming thread). We'll iron out standard equipment (unless it's obvious) and finish discussion on characters if needed. It will also be the last time you can switch characters if you want. And then I'll leave that thread up and it can become our "General Tourney Discussion" thread, so that the battles can be nothing but fighting.
3. I still will have to post limits for Vanth and Blink...I'll get to it soon.
4. A few people have expressed gratitude for my efforts with the tourney. Thanks...it's fun and I hope I'm being fair to everyone.
First things first, I don't know a whole lot about Speedfreak, but his site says that he's fared very well against Hulk... Dunno how much the rockets had to do with that, but anyone going toe to toe with Hulk has to be a pretty tough SOB. I'd like to hear more about his strength and durability... The armor looks pretty solid.
And you're doing quite the bang up job, Digi. Good work thus far!

Speedfreek apparently has titanium armor (which can be pierced, though not easily, by adamantium, vibranium, lightsabers, diamond-edged scimitars, etc.) and has some adamantium blades. His rockets have been cut off, so he can't fly, but he has little boosters that can propel him forward. Other than that, I thought he was just supposed to be a decent fighter and stuff. I mean, Logan and Parker and other jobbers have "fared well" (i.e. survived) against Hulk, so that might not be saying much.
But just to make sure, anyone else have info on this guy??
Titanium. A rung or two below the "indestructible" types. If it had been any stronger I'd have banned it, but most weapons will get through it eventually (some quicker than others)...Doc Ock's tentacles are made of the same stuff. Not indestructible...just a tough metal.
