Nothing I do very well, but just for fun.

Fantasy.

Dancing light and shimmering dreams
The Darkness has awoke.
It follows me about my mind
At night it does provoke.

It beckons, it calls, it taunts me so.
Eternal night, with ember glow.
Where it takes me, we shall see,
It's only just a fantasy.

Like I said, I'm not very good, but right brained people like to have fun.
Here's another one I did.

Little Dictator

There is a little dictator sitting on my couch.
She only comes just past my knees, but she can scream and shout.
So away we take the tyrant,
to where the tyrants go,
Later I will check on her and give it one more go..

When I open up her door she blocked, laying on the floor,
She runs to me to hold her, I can tell she wants no more.

Welcome back to our Republic,
Welcome back to my domain,
Welcome back my angel,
I'm glad your back again.

With her blanket and her kangaroo sitting on her lap,
I wonder,
are all tyrants cranky, when they've had a nap?

Stinker

Baby doll eyes that sparkle
The dimple in his smile,
His look of innocents grabs you
You want to hold a while
He sees you through the doorway
He runs on little feet,
He runs you think to kiss you,
then says "mom your breath stinks."

OK...one more.

WHERE ARE YOU?

Where are you?

I am the song that drifts through out your day.
The voice that tells you your OK.
The shadows as you walk on by,
I'm always watching you.

Can't you feel me?

I am the stillness of a heart that skips, the daydreams of azure and gold.
I am the whisperings of golden leaves, and trickling brooks,
and swirling winds,
Yes the coolness of the morning dew a kiss to all I touch.
I often touch you...

Where are you?

I am here...I wrap my world around you.
I am here...Gently blowing in your ear.
I am here...Surrounding your thoughts with dreams...
and caressing you with my rain...It is me, and I am here.

I am here,
And I am you.

Sea Creature

Shovelling the ocean with a teaspoon.

So, that's how it is.

A weary drop at a time.

It can never be done,
never do any good,
all it does
is make you tired.

Why do you need the ocean water?

To survive, to put upon the back
of a stranded creature,
scarred and gasping.

If that creature dies,
so will I.

Can you not move it
closer to the ocean?

It is too heavy.

Can you not find a larger receptacle
to carry water in?

There is only me, the ocean,
the beach and the creature
in all of existence.

The creature cannot move?

No, it cannot.

Can you call for help?

I have called a weary hundred thousand times
until my voice broke and my throat
was hoarse from all the shouting
and the creature nearly died
because I spent what energy I have
on screaming, not on ferrying the water.

Can you not dig the sand?

It is too slippery
and I have to keep bringing water
all the time or else
the creature dies.

What does the creature say?

It doesn't say a thing,
it is suffering too greatly.

Have you not considered
putting yourselves out
of your never ending misery.

I stop and my head begins to hurt.

I turn to look at the blackened,
red burst crusted alien creature
and I go to it and talk to it sincerely
and it opens a weary eye
to look at me.

Would you rather die? I ask it
and it nods its head so slightly
that I have to ask again.

But how can I sit here and watch you die?
You are all I have in all the world -
without you what would there be,
just this shore, this ocean,
I cannot be here by myself.

I keep you so that there is
some measure of purpose
for my being here at all.

Please don't leave me,
please, please don't die!

I love you desperately, needfully,
I cling to you with everything I am
and I will do whatever you ask of me -
just please, oh please don't leave me here!

I cry and cry and my tears touch the creature
and where they fall upon its
blackened, burned, charred skin
it soothes there
and healing
is taking place
like magic.

Round spots of healing,
revealing an opal blue green skin
of sea smoothness
where there was
wound upon wound.

This was the salt water
which the creature craved,
a salt water not found in the ocean,
a salt water that carried such strong magic
you would never know or guess
just how much healing transformation
it has the power to procure.

I can heal you, I thought,
I can really heal you and perhaps when healed,
you'll heal me back
and there's a chance of something else,
a chance of life
beyond the never ending toil and suffering
here on this barren shore.

A great sadness wells within me -
I cry and cry and heal and heal and heal
and cry and heal and cry
and finally the creature is restored
entirely in its sleek and ancient beauty -
it lifts its head and it begins to
sing a song of beauty,
of compassion and of love
and as it does, the sky begins to rend
and through it came a cornucopia of life
of sea and land and sky and
thus transformed the barren shore
to lusciousness and teeming,
to colours, sounds and textures
rich and full of majesty
together in a symphony
of life.

I didn't write it, but always liked it.

OK...at the beach with some creative thoughts.....not sea creature kind though.

LET HER SLEEP.

Don't wake her......
Let her sleep.....

Crimson fields filled with fragrant poppies
Intoxicating.
Burning sky of fire..refreshing waves electric..

Shhhhhhhh...
Let her sleep...........
Don't awaken her.

Blowing wild encompassing her
pulling her, pulling her away...........

Another pot of coffee, a gathering of mail
another day, another day.....She dreams her days away....

She lights a fire in the hearth
Colors crimson and ember glow.
She peeks outside the window sill
the moon bight with Venus.

Shhhhhhhh
she's sleeping....
Don't wake her

Hold me closer Hold me closer, she whispers in th night...she is far away....

Shhhhhhhh..don't wake her.
Only this moment... honey on her lips.
Only this place, forces of nature blend together bound...

Another pot of coffee, gather the mail another day another day.
She dreams her days away.
Going to the lake...Bronze, Beauty, dark chestnut hair..midnight eyes..

Shhhhhhhhhhh
She's sleeping
don't wake her

Let her sleep
Let her sleep

She's dancing....dancing....dancing....dancing....
Dancing in the moon lite...

Earth Met Sky

Deep within the fiery Earth was life.................
It pulsed up untill it met the sky.
They intermingled and formed eternity..
The invisible, the dimension...next door
And it cried..............

Blue..

Blue is a funny color
Eyes, sky, waves,
Blue can be the dark night before the dawn
And blue can be just the blues.............

Me

Mine is me
Mine is all
Rip it not
no
no
no
Turn away, have you .
Rip me not.
I have a cry, I have a cry
no
no
no
I will feed it not, I will not
The grains will not contain me
the sand of time not
I am...
Feed not the thing ...Not within Me
Love cast on beauty unknown
Whispers of thoughts
Tears of compassion
Kill me not...mine not you.
For I am within
Save me within...Will you not be there.
Saltine tears...saltine tears...saltine tears...

Mine is me..

falling the light dims slowly....

Serging....aimlessly....wondering...travels.

Ah, yes....I've found you my love.

Molding clay surging fingers.
prompting pleasure of the mind
What shall I make says the potter
what shall I make for mine....
He takes it home....not be alone...
The treasure comes alive,
He breathes the breath of life upon it
Together in their mind.....
