The moon is very bright to night.
just below is Venus.

OH, Venus how you do your plight
to search for ones delight,

But wait look see a comet flee
quickly though Orion...

Virgo looks just past the west
To see it hit Orion's chest.

Oh Venus know the moon does see
What you do in secrecy.

Who cares the gods who looks and waits,
Another fest to celebrate.

Bless the sky, the milky way,
Let immortals have their play

Toast your glass and let you say
Venus had her night away.

Well, if you do look outside now...you'll see Venus just near the moon, and that night I did see a shooting star....so it all worked in....OH my...how I love the heavens....Of course you have to add on mythology....

Well Venus it one of the first very bright like star that is the moon now...you'll see it...can't miss it...very bright.

Venus is also considered the goddess of love in mythology...

Here's one a friend wrote...I thought it was good so I'm posting it...

MY ROSE

My love is a rose, standing out from the rest,
Her color the brightest, her frangrance the best.
But a rose set aside and not bathed in the sun,
Soon pales in its color and waits for the one
Who should care for and nourish the delicate flower
To honor and Cherish and protect it from harm.

Though lonely and weary, the flower stands tall
Adapts as it must to handle it all.

Excuses were many, comforts were few,
My head, not my heart telling me what to do.
Empathy a word I would hear time to time
Not wanting to know and not seeking to find
Anger and bitterness, putting myself first,
Neglecting you now and making it worse.

I like it muchly. very true too how the rose, as all things, fade when kept in darkness.

they can't....for they are removed by distance....tears...

Falling stars, comets, Venus who looks down....
Just as the others of Mythology once again..

Sleep tender one...sleep the rapture of hibernation,

Yeah I find myself writing in a melancholy most of the time, even though I don't feel melancholy... guess it's just what I write about best or something *shrugs* lol
