Yikes, I didn't realize how many of those original links were broken.
Hopefully I will have time to re-do this before I go out of the country for an extended period, but if not I'll certainly have a new version up by the end of Final Crisis.
I also just noticed, upon review, that some of those descriptions are mis-copied, left out, or wholly altered from my original thread (I still have it saved in a word file, so I'm quite sure).
For instance, there is no description that matches the Titans/JLA scans. There is no scan for the Orion/Genesis box description, no scans appear for the Orion/Superman battle, the description wasn't 'Orion fights an Old God" but rather "Orion fights an Old God weapon", etc.
I won't bother posting the original, correct version because for one it is hopelessly out of date, and for another a lot of the links don't actually work, but to be clear those descriptions aren't as accurate or as detailed as mine were.
Hopefully the updated version will be even better.
When it comes to strength, it's common knowledge that Orion is one of the most powerful beings in the DCU. He has few on panel feats of strength other than combatting and besting some of the strongest that the DCU has to offer. Here's a few that I found.
Disguised as Mr. Miracle, Orion causes a shockwave that destroys the ground and nearby Apokoliptan goons. (please log in to view the image)
Absolutely obliterates a ginormous Apokoliptan Clink Tank with his fists! The nearby soldiers are mere ants in comparison. (please log in to view the image)
