the pattern i speak of was something the show it's self has shown....
in season 1&2 the bad guy was yellow eyes
3&4 Lilith
5 was the devil....
if its coming back to have a 6th and they keep pattern it will be the devil
....my opinion was that sam would pull dean back into hunting and dean wouldn't want to but he would feel obligated to protect his brother....then almost at the end BAM you find out its the devil. Or something like that

I havent read back to the last point I was in this room but I read back a few pages....The whole chuck bein God thing...what did chuck say when we first met him(episode 18 season 4 monster at the end of this book if you missed it)...he told sam and dean he must be a god....personally I liked the idea his work as a prophet was done and he got taken to heaven...but IF the devil is on the loose again in season 6 the gospel cannot be finished...Kripke is cryptic isnt he..lol..grr .. come on season 6!
I think the 6th season final, Sam and Dean either get and nice happy ending a go off all happy or they both die...you never know, Satan may win and kill Dean, I'm wondering if Michael will be able to get out

It certainly could be used some of the stuff they couldn't show in the tv show due to budgetary constraints like an actual clash between archangels and what the apocalypse should have been in terms of scope.

Well from what I read it's only going to like cover the first two seasons. So just Yellow-Eyes. Though I guess if it does well it'll probably go farther. I've wanted to read that.

Well, Lilith (white eyes) was able to destroy an entire city block with a flash of light. But, Azazel (Yellow eyes) could only be killed by the Colt, nothing else.
Also, Azazel is the only yellow-eyed demon that I know of.

I would assume Lillith is more powerful as she is the first demon and the one that Lucifer himself created. Though Azazel might have also been created by Lucifer considering how he was the only one to look for Lucifer whilst he was sealed.

just a thought but I kinda gathered though that azazel was in charge cause lillith wasnt taking over till he died...but that I guess that doesnt say he was more powerful ...just that he cared about keeping order amongst the demons..??...lillith only cared about eating babies..lol...
I still liked Azazel more, for the record. Dude had a sense of humor.
Speaking of, the Trickster/Gabriel was another fav character. Dude made me lol irl.

Yeah Azazel had a great presense on the show...like an extremely dark sense of humor and gravitas behind him. The actor that played him in season two was great.
