Yes, Coldfire, please submit a piece! It's a 'competition', yes, but it's very informal and the main thing that Syren and I wanted to do with this is to encourage people to maybe try something new, and to just have fun.

Come on, I would very much like to see some more entries. The two submissions that we have are absolutely wonderful pieces, written excellently and both so different. But, as Milla said, the competition cannot work with only two entries.
I believe there are enough poets who have the confidence, it seems more likely a lack of incentive. Unfortunately

What I mean to say is, I find it more than a little amusing that we have all these would-be poets in the house, but only 2 suckers have submitted a poem! What's that about? Just give it a go...if it blows, it blows, but if you don't give it a go, then you'll never know. Hello. Yo. Day-glo. Bo. Ho. Solo. Woe. No. Mo. Glarnafarkin.

Well, so many people write dark poetry that Sy and I wanted to do something different, and push people to maybe try a style they've never done before; who knows, maybe someone will, in writing something the opposite of what they usually do, find that they really like it and possibly blow us all away.
