under the bed.
I was in London recently and I just went nuts, I spent more than 50 pounds in a couple of hours! But it was worth it - I got the five newest Robert B. Parker novels, two novels and a collection of short stories by Peter F Hamilton, and two books by Neal Stephenson!
Man, I am in reader's heaven right now - I devoured the short stories by Hamilton, and then one of his Mindstar books, although of course only after I read Stephenson's Diamond Age, but that goes without saying.
Cryptonomicum (or however you spell it, I'm too lazy to check now ) will be main course and then the Parkers for dessert...
I've got a James Clavell marathon to get started on, Gai-jin, followed by Noble house, Whirlwind and Escape! So I'm trying not to buy any more books until I've read these but its difficult because I'm weak.
"The Seventh Tower book 6" by Garth Nix
"Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment" by James Patterson
"Maximum Ride: School's Out-Forever" by James Patterson
"The Land Of Elyon Book 3: The Tenth City" by Patrick Carman
"The DragonRiders Of Pern" by Anne McCaffrey (3 books in one)
"Eldest" by Christopher Paolini
And all the "Narnia" books by C.S. Lewis
P.S. have any of you been to Barns and Novels? (sp?) What books do you suggest I get like what is good to read and what not?
I finally went to the bookstore! I'm sooo happy! I hadn't gone since December (or was it January?). Oh well. Anyway, I bought:
Midnighters Vol. 3: Blue Noon by Scott Westerfeld
Pendragon Vol. 7: The Qullian Games by D. J MacHale
