I bought "Die Vermessung der Welt" for my Grandmother for Christmas. Horribly mediocre book in my opinion.

I just got
The Scarlet Letter by Nathienel Hawthrone
The Fall of the House of Usher by Edgar Allan Poe
Journey to the Centre of the Earth by Jules Verne (I had to get instead of always borrowing it from my school's library)
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald (same as Journey)
This Side of Paradise by Fitzgerald
Hopefully, if I have to read them in college or something, I'll be prepared.

Fablehaven By Brandon Mull.
Leven Thumps and The Gateway To Foo By Obert Skye.
Fablehaven and Leven Thumps were indeed signed by their authors.

People say Eragon is better than Harry Potter (which I doubt). Is it?

It's about a shit that travels the world looking for a toothbrush. It's pretty epic, really.
