Yo Lucid bro, any pics of Gladiator using speed blitz? He was described by Reed in Fantastic 4 that Gladiator is 100x faster than light speed, which is even faster than Superman....
I don't think Gladiator is as powerful as he should be. I mean, he's supposed to be pre-Crisis, yet he has lost to Thor sometimes and has had trouble with the Hulk. IMO he should be able to casually move planets and whup Thor and the Hulk without getting a scratch. He should actually be depicted as being truly pre-Crisis level.
Well, he does have pre-crisis level feats, but the only time he's been shown anywhere near that level was during his first Fantastic Four appearances and in a Marvel Comics Presents issue.
He should never lose to Hulk (unless he just dukes it out with him and doesn't use speed), losing to Thor is ok because Mjolnir is a great equalizer against anyone, but he should beat Thor the majority of times.
The problem is that he's not a main character. If he had his own book he'd be depicted as a much more stable level instead of being all over the place. But he's brought in to job and make the character with the actual comic look good.
In most cases he's depicted pretty well, just that he loses the fight in the end cause he has to. Then there's other cases which are complete crap (fights with Hulk, Gambit etc.)
I don't think he should be depicted as Pre-Crisis Supes level, cause that's a bit ridiculous. More around Surfer's level. High-End Herald.
I agree ... he's got a very cool name , and he has the ability to pull of some ridiculous feats due to his psionic field .... I'd pay serious money to have him fight Sentry , although I'm pretty sure the yellow guy would win !!!!!!!!
I've got alot more respect for the guy after reading this thread .... Still think he could do with a hair cut, although its linked to the whole 'Gladiator roman/Greek thing.

This scan shows that Gladiator's senses are all very attuned, he can actually sense that something is wrong about Johnny. (who is being possesed by Nebula)
Hey Lucid, or any1 who loves Gladiator, I heard that Bowen Designs is planning to release a Gladiator mini-bust in the future, which brings joy to folks who love Gladiator b/c he is not a character who is commonly picked for production, but Randy is a cool dude who produces stuff when there is a demand. So if you guys really want to grab this bust in the future, keep your eyes opened b/c I heard Bowen Designs will limit their statues/busts to lower run, which means fewer limited run will be produced. what a shame that marvel doesnt portray this character for what he should be ,they could make gladiator and the shiar empire more poupular than star wars theirs so many characters in the shiar that have amazing powers but like gladiator are used as marvel punching bags.
