They're actually sweet as hell, but it involves cutting metal with power tools and such. I have the tools, but between the work involved and my relative inexperience with this kind of thing, there's no way it would end up fitting together as nicely as it should (or at all ).

New ideas:
1. Kingpin (fatsuit?)
2. Batman (obvious but cool)
3. Tick (would need to be bought online...on-time delivery might be an issue this late).
4. Kim Possible ( )
Nah, it was build one or bust for me. I already have a plastic one, and don't really feel like trying to mod it....it wouldn't be nearly as cool anyway.
Actually, the backup plan to these backup plans is to go as an abstract concept (an idea I borrowed from an old Dino Comic). It could be pretty much anything, and I could throw it together in under an hour...I'd just have to make everything I'm wearing into a symbol.
Wearing a gray suit and making a fatsuit for myself out of duct tape and pillows might be hilarious, so Kingpin's a strong possibility.
Oh. No, but thanks. I know how to get them....it just requires work, which isn't my strong suit with physical endeavor. I just stay relatively skinny and bike a lot, so I have endurance but not a huge physique.

Though I'd like to point out that if we were making teams from everyone we've been for Halloween, I'd be pwning you all (iirc). The Doctor and Thor head the list, and I'm considering trying to add Alan Scott to their ranks. The gauntlet is thrown, gents. Let's see who the first is to meet the challenge and dress as LT or something.
Some friends of mine and I are trying to organize a group costume thing, where we do characters from the awesome TV show The Venture Bros. That will fall through though, and Alan's the leading candidate for me, but won't be easy. So we'll see. It might not happen this year.
