No. I didn't say it's right or wrong based off of the government doing it. If you went after the scum bag who killed your sister, I would support you. I would too if someone killed my sister.

That isn't going to keep you out off jail, though.

You mean murder rates are lower, which could have something to do with it being much harder to get away with than it was in the past.

iirc, all violent crime is down

wait, are you trying to support the idea that harsh penalties would make people commit less crime?

No, I believe it has been proven that the severity of the punishment has little impact on whether or not to commit the crime. Being able to get away with it completely is another matter.

That is true people knowing what they are facing if they murder someone does make the crime go down more.

Base on reather or not the Death Penalty is used in whatever state that they commited the crime in.

But that's incorrect. Based on facts.

Why are liberals pro abortion of an innocent life, but against the taking the life of a non-innocent?

Because they don't feel that a fetus has an equal right to life as that of an adult person with hopes and dreams and wishes and desires, and therefore hold the woman's right to her body and freedom as higher, say in the same way that a little piggy is an innocent life, but we still kill it just cause it tastes good (not even cause it does physical harm to you, which is what a fetus does)

I don't have any knowledge of that, but with a name like yours I'm sure you can tell me what they taste like. Is it chicken?

how can you be against the death penalty?seriously.

"If we execute murderers and there is in fact no deterrent effect, we have killed a bunch of murderers. If we fail to execute murderers, and doing so would in fact have deterred other murders, we have allowed the killing of a bunch of innocent victims. I would much rather risk the former. This, to me, is not a tough call."

John McAdams - Marquette University/Department of Political Science, on deterrence

Jonathan Swift explained in detail why eating babies is perfectly moral.

That is a great comment.

I don't think we always have the right person..there's been several overturned death sentences in the last few years because of the new DNA evidence prooved that they didn't do it.
