Aurora and Northstar vs. The X-Men X-Men #190-After being augemented by the Children of the Night, the twins take on the X-Men. Oddly they don't seem to have their elfish ears here. They also made comment, their powers arn't solar based in the issue but they can generate their own light and use it for a variety of purposes. Cable was an unexpected turn of events, the Children and the Twins didn't know he was here
Feats shown:
-Aurora and Northstar use their new concussive blast that incinerates Iceman's body
-The twins speedblitz the White Queen faster than 1/100 of a second knocking her out
-Northstar travels at the speed of light to redirct Cyclops optic blasts to take out Cannonball, Colossus and various other X-Men
-Northstar takes out Victor with an elbow that leaves him a bloddy mess
-Northstar uses his strength to rip open steel doors like it was nothing
-Aurora easily defeats X-23 by impaling her fingertips inside her at twice the speed of sound, which has the power to peirce even steel.
-Aurora easily takes out Mercury
-Aurora nearly kills Mystique, but Iceman saves her
-Northstar shows his high durability the sheild that protects him from friction also takes the power from Rogue's punches
-Northstar defeats Rogue even after she stole his speed, by using his experience creating windshear and turning momentum into power
and northstar's tearing up the floor. the doors seem to be giving him noticeably more trouble, considering the creaking, the small opening, and the window of opportunity rogue gets to clock him on the head. still, stronger than i remember him being.
"Are you accepting submissions of ideas for a new Alpha Flight?" he asked. Cebulski reluctantly agreed to hear his idea for a new Alpha Flight.
Bendis announced that he would change the name of the Canadian superhero team to Omega Flight, and he'd have Michael Avon Oeming write it with Scott Kolins on art.
Cebulski approved the idea right then, and announced that in 2007, the team of Oeming and Kolins, who were seen together most recently on Thor: Blood Oath, would be reuniting on an ongoing Omega Flight comic.
