an dc fanboys are the worst yall use the versatility arguement way to much if it was actually as foolproof as u think i would have stopped arguing already and if he never uses speed then its like juggs an his hand blasts they have no affect if not used

Doomsday had superspeed on a level rivaling Superman and thus at least analogous to the Flash. Thus while the Hulk may potentially become stronger than Doomsday (or even Superman) he would always lack the speed necessary to hit either of them. It is the speed discrepancy that Hulk supporters seem to fail either to comprehend or to address. Strength is absolutely useless if you're not able to lay a hand on your opponent.

First of Doomsday is as fast as Superman. He moves so fast Blue Beetle isn't able to react/think of a way out before Doomsday smashed his head with a car's door. Guy Gardner also fell victim to Doomsday super speed. Even Superman himself was getting manhandled by Doomsday's speed. Doomsday has displayed even more invulnerability than Superman--and it's a fact Superman's invulnerability is far beyond hulk's resistance to injury. Doomsday evolves/adapts to his adversary. When Superman and DD were fighting during the Death of Superman story arc Superman states doomsday is getting stronger while they fought. In the Superman/Doomsday Hunter Prey series it is revealed that once Doomsday is beaten/killed when he returns it is impossible to defeat him using the same tactic. Doomsday even survived Darkseid's Omega Effect, go figure.
So this is what will happen in my opinion: Savage Hulk(The only one who stands a slim chance of surviving agianst DD) encounters Doomsday. Doomsday wastes no time going after SH. The first blow lands faster than Hulk can react and he flies into a building and gets angry. He obviously becomes stronger but Doomsday is still too fast for him. He gets angrier and stronger, but still doesn't land a blow and still does not manage to dodge any of Doomsday's blows. Hulk will eventually be KOed or killed in a fight with Doomsday. DD's super speed alone will mock Savage Hulk.
"Ugly monster too fast Hulk can't hit stupid monster!"
Because Hulk's base strength is lower than Superman's and Doomsday's. Hulk would have to continously get mad in order to tango with them, but their super speed combined with their strength will prevent Hulk from reaching his Uber Anger Miracle Onslaught Armor breaking feats. In other words they will most likely be able to subdue, put Hulk in a coma, or kill him before he can say "Hulk Smash".
I am hulk fan, and even I say Superman will leave him a green stain on the ground, but there’s something all of you are forgetting about Hulk. ALL of his abilities increase with his anger, including speed. The reason Hulk cannot run as fast as other characters is due to the fact he cannot fly or otherwise control his airborne momentum. When he tries to run too fast his legs propel him toward escape velocity due to their strength increase and he goes tumbling over, meaning he has to limit his running speed or end up with a face full of dirt or space vacuum. The Hulk has been shown hitting “speed” characters such as quicksilver in the past. He has no problem smacking someone buzzing around him at that speed. The problem for him is he could never beat someone like that in an actual footrace. It’s been shown before; all of the Hulks abilities increase. His speed included. He just can’t utilize the speed increase completely.
This is one of the things that irks me about people who just think he’s a big, slow plodding brick. That is not the case at all. The hulk is faster than most people think he is. Would this help in a battle with Superman? No way. Superman would just crush Professor Hulk like a big green bug. Even all the other Hulk incarnations would get beaten. Hulk can become stronger than Superman, say what you will, but that’s a stone cold fact. Stronger doesn’t win this fight, though. Superman has too many other powers to call upon to lose this fight.
even thow I'm a big Hulk fanboy, I don't see it happen.
I know hulk has a sixth sense of fighting, and wenn he gets angry not only his strength will increase, but also his healing factor.
Superman has to many powers.
So I say 8 or 9/10 superman, Hulk still can get lucky shot in iff he hits superman wenn he is full of rage.
Well, compared to Cyclops the Hulk is no slouch when it comes to speed.
Compared to Jubilee the Hulk is a freakin' speedster!
Compared to prof.X the Hulk is the epitome of velocity!
After all, the Hulk can run at around 300mph.
And that is very fast .....he can outrun any current production sports car for instance.
However compared to SUPERMAN (not prof.X, not Jubilee, not Cyclops ....not even your fave rice-burner tuner) the Hulk is AS SLOW AS MOLASSES!
The Hulk goes at 300mph.
Superman can go at speeds that oscillate between a fraction of lightspeed to (in some portrayals) lightspeed plus.
How are the two even comparable? In any way form or manner?
Anyways, it is amazing that this thread is still going on. The Hulk is simply not a match for Superman .....it is actually a tad bit ludicrous to have them on the same billing.
Seriously .....you are putting a person whose main offensive arsenal is strength (and nothing else, and thus severely uni-dimensional) against someone who is one of the most omni-dimensional characters in comics!
It is actually funny.
This is how Superman can lose (note: He has to do all of them for it to work):
1) He (Superman) decides to provoke the Hulk for a considerable period of time so as to let the Hulk's anger reach a crescendo
2) He decides to not fly.
3) Decides to not use any of his speed
4) Decides not to use any of his superior sensory perceptions (which could make him actually fight the Hulk blindfolded, and win, since he could keep tabs on the Green One easily using anything ranging from superhearing to feeling air-pressure shunts)
5) Decides not to use any of his offensive array of options
6) Decides to just stand there and let the Hulk pound on him
7) Decides to operate at a level of intellect that is equal to that of the Hulk (i.e he decides to act as stupid as the Hulk is when he is really mad)
Do all of those things and then the Hulk has a chance.
BUT, under KMC rules (with both characters doing their best), Superman wins 10/10 .....everytime.
Goodness, as someone else posted this is a thread pitting the Hulk against a character with the strength of a REALLY pissed off Hulk, with speed approaching Flash level, one of the top most invulnerabilities, top level flight, and more offensive capability than most X-men teamups!
Goodness. This IS a spite thread .....the Hulk fans just don't know that it is. And that is probably the most ironic (and seriously hilarious) aspect of this thread. For a host of logical reasons this is a spite thread, but the Hulk fans just don't realize that.
