i've got every issue with the she-ock in it. just from what i read, the shield DID seem to be able to take a lot of damage.

so you port, blast, port again, and the blast is omni-directional? if that's true, the magnitude of the blast (since only a portion of it would be striking shock) would be much less than a focussed blast . . . i'm thinking the shield could take that.

if they get through your shield does your shield simply regenerate itself when you reappear? if not, he'll get you next time . . .

it depends, imo. if he is accompanied by a charged field from which he unleashes the blast, perhaps that IS the build up. if the field is sufficiently charged, it would be a matter of his releasing it, rather than summoning/building it up to be blasted. there would be no 'build up' because the energy would already be there all around him. by the same token, if he HAS charged the air, the electricity around him would seem to impair the abilty of nighter to see the electricity in shock's brain. like your candle flame amid the lit matches.
once again though, unfamiliarity with your character khell makes me feel bad for having joined in. plus, i'm not completely positive my own assumptions as relate to lp's character are wholly accurate.
so . . .
i suppose the only honorable thing to do is withdraw my vote altogether. sorry lp, though it appears it won't matter in the least because you seem to have a sizeable lead. just doesn't seem fair to khell that i vote against him just because i'm not sure what his character is really capable of.
again, well done, gents. sorry piggy . . . but, as i said, it appears you didn't need me anyway . . .

plus, i'm not completely positive my own assumptions as relate to lp's character are wholly accurate.
