Hey, man, I have nothing personal against you, just you might not wanna act so hostile towards everyone. If you don't like a thread, you don't have to post in it.
guru, i find it funny that you thought soljer was challenging you or something online (which he wasn't) and chastised him for wanting to fight over the net, and then do the exact thing you accused him of. funny stuff.
so, you use to do what to dudes like me in prison? so by your own admission you're into dudes in apparantly more than one way? am i reading that right?
Superman may be the ultimate Superhero in terms of morals, he dislikes killing, is honest, selfless, and honorable, but unlike pussy Batman who sends killer clowns to prison just so they can escape the next week and kill more people so he can be sent to prison again, Superman has done what has to be done, he realised that he had no way to stop Doomsday without killing him, so he did just that, killed the shit out of him.
Superman is the Ultimate Superhero when it comes to what a hero should stand for. Today in comic book fans' eyes heroes are defined by their power and there enemies. I strongly disagre!! Thats not a hero! A hero is defined by what choices he makes, how he confronts problems, how he defeats people, how he protects people even if its one uselss one. A hero must leave behind him, or overcome, the weakness and temptation that we give in.
Superman was the "real" first hero for the people. When he first come out(around 1939) and the decade that followed, kids like my father needed a hero. Courageous, self-sacrificing people. Setting examples for all of us. Everybody loves a hero. People line up for them, cheer them, scream their names. And years later, they'll tell how they stood in the rain for hours just to get a glimpse of the one who taught them how to hold on a second longer(quoted).
You can trace all this back to the founding Myths. Jason, Hercules, Persues, Thesues and so many after them were the actual heroes. Thats where Superman comes from. Thats where Superman orginated. Today, however, Heroes are inspired by the Superman. When I look at superman I see Nobility, endurance, strenght, leadership, and much more, I see the Man Of Steel.
Thats the essay(much smaller) that I used to make the essay for my Myth class in HS. The essay question was about "Is Superman the Ultimate hero". I got an A+ not bad for 5 minute work eh?
eh I think Steve Rogers takes that title. 100% selfless. Well stand up to any body no matter how poerful even without his shield. fights for the dream above all else.
