I numbered your post to save quoting.

1) Yes, I have completed it many times.

2) To see the 'extras'. It should really be advertised as an 'extra', IE the additional Ada parts. The rest is pointless and mostly goes unnoticed.

The so-called flashlight part is a joke. It's exactly the same visual, just much poorer, and with a light that doesn't even illuminate the background.

3) It's not less fun because I know what's going to happen, as I had already played it lots of times on the Cube. What is less fun is the poorer graphics, framerate and controls.

I still can't get myself to replay role playing games after I beat them because I dread going through all the random battles and stuff. And also knowing what's going to happen.

But the way yall are talking about Resident evil is making me want it, but It's been out for a long time and I'm kind of late and plus I don't think I could handle it.

is it comprehensible.....

What is it with you people?

The framerate on Ps2 is identical to the GameCube version, the graphics are fine with either control type, and the graphics are downgraded a tiny bit. Stop comparing the game versions by visuals.

I just went through the ps2 version- everything was in the boxes as it normally is, on the proper version.

Oh well lucky you, although it's clear I didn't considering I was able to buy 4 rocket launchers, and still buy the final upgrades for most of my weapons before the exclusives. Yet for ammo I kept having to buy the ammunition upgrades basically.

Well what the hell, why can't the game be talked about without comparing versions?

It's the same game. might as well call it RE4 and not have ps2 or Gc in the title. Same game different graphics and controls.

If I didn't they would of just told me there was another, so I made it because it came out and to offer help to anyone who was playing it for the first time.

I had so much ammo when I played through on the PS2.

I use it quite carefully though.

4 rocket launchers?

I never buy one, but I use the one you find on Verdugo, to get his item.

4 Launchers was the key that I got far too much money.

I usually only bought 2 and used the one you find.

I use the one you find on the 2 blind claw guys after the clock tower.

I bought one for Verdugo.

and one for Salazar.

On Ps2 I was able to buy one for the Village Chief, AND still afford the Broken Butterfly and Auto-Rifle in Chapter 3 as soon as I entered the castle.

I do that sometimes though, cos the Village Chief is irritating on Professional. I still have money for the mine launcher, auto rifle and riot gun when I get to the castle.

Do you buy the Broken Butterfly? You know you get one for free in the castle, don't you?

I buy the Broken Butterfly as soon as I enter the castle along with the Auto-Rifle, so that I can kill the first claw guy with 2 bullets. I also buy it sooner so I can quickly buy upgrades for it. If I have it up to 28.0 on Normal I can kill Salazar with 4-5 bullets and won't need a Launcher at all. Plus I can usually buy the exclusive for it than and tear up Krauser.

The graphics and controls are noticeably more troublesome on the PS2 version. Very unresponsive. I'm not judging the game by the graphics, I still love the original Metal Gear and it's graphics are lame now. I'm just saying, considering the fact that the comparisons made are between the Cube and the PS2, it's only fair we include every aspect.

The graphics are nowhere near as smooth, the controls are unresponsive and stiff. As for the less/more ammo, it's clear you are both getting different amounts. Victor got a lot on the PS2, you got not as much. The conclusion to be drawn is that it differs, not that the PS2 has less. I don't understand where that comes from. The items differ, on both versions. I played through the boiler room bit JUST before you first meet Krauser, five times. Three times I got money, twice I got ammo. It's been different each time. It's also not a decider.

As stated before, the torch does nothing at all. Not a thing. When you're walking through the tunnels and waterways, you have default additional lighting anyway. It's never pitch black, so the torch is pointless.

As for these new guns, they're not even in the game. Well, guns? You mean gun. There's just one and it's not even readily available. What was the point in that? Never seen such an anti-climatic thing in my life. It's like the taser from Syphon Filter, just beefed up a bit.

As Victor said before me, the only thing that makes this game good is the fact that it's a port from one of the best games ever. It's Resident Evil, minus the greatness, plus an unlockable gun and side-game.

Should have just left it as it was.

Oh. I barely use the magnum. I use it to finish Salazar, and a bit on 'It'.

I use the knife to fight Krauser.

AC was pushing the line time and time again. If you don't think he deserved to be banned for that then you have a twisted sense of logic.

Mods are the absolute referees here. You do NOT argue with them over moderating decisions- doubly so not in the threads. AC argued with Lana, BF and myself in this thread. Doing that just once after a warning not to is grounds for a ban- he did it lots of times.

If anyone else wants to argue it any more, they can follow him- as so it will be if you keep discussing it in this thread after being told not to. Keep that sort of thing in private. A certain sloppy attitude might have developed in some areas thinking that this kind of thing is acceptable, which is why presumably you think that wasn't worth a ban. Well, it is, so you had better get used to that!

JP is damn lucky he edited his post- but at least he did finally subsist and did not feel some desperate urge to get the last word in, which is what got AC banned because he just would not drop it. If AC had just stopped, he would have been fine. Learn from that, guys.

Now continue with the topic.

I guess that disables me to express my opinion.

So Lana you are going to definitely get this game for Gamecube?

It's been out for so long and so many things have been revealed and so many clips of the game shown. Oh yeah, I know one major reason why this game is spoiled to me. I watched a "Cheaters" episode of this game whiched showed many clips and events from the game and it even gave away the ending which the host herself said was not all that great. I didn't think it was either. But hey, I rarely finish games so I don't really no what to compare it too besides Final Fantasy X and a few others but still it wasn't anything special, so I guess that's why the game is spoiled for me.

Do you not know much about this game Lana or do you and still want to play it regardless how much information you have and giveaways you know.

is it comprehensible.....
