Trying to take in everything that Raly just said, Mo remained speechless. She couldn't understand why someone would care for someone such as herself. Then losing sleep over not knowing where she is or what she's doing. Mo had worked hard for her what she thought was freedom, and was not about to be stalked by Raly.
Mo shifted as Raly came closer to her, and she turned away at his mention of her bruised cheek. "Er, look... Raly... you really don't have to do this." she said tentatively, finally finding her speech.
Raly shook his head. "You might think that... but I know what I'm talking about. Jay likes you, so the least I can do is give a good home... a safe place to rest." Raly said as he looked back out at the farm.

Mo followed his gaze, and looked out at what could be her potential 'home'. She then stood up... You should've left, she told herself. You shouldn't have gotten caught up in all of this. But then again you never had a nice place to stay since... No, don't go there. She fought with herself for a few moments, contemplating whether or not to take up his offer. Maureen could barely believe he had asked her. "I need some time to think this over, Raly." she said suddenly. Mo turned and walked back into the house, leaving Raly outside.
Raly stood and kept a watch on the farm. "You take all the time you need, miss Mo." Raly said as he sat down next to the door and leaned against the wall.

Mo stepped inside the house quietly, not paying much attention to what Raly had last said to her, and hoping she wouldn't wake Jay. Heading towards a bed, she stopped and stared at herself in the bathroom mirror. It looked worn and tired, not that of someone so young. Her bruise had turned a nice mix of blues and purples, and her yellow eyes were bloodshot.
What was she to do? Maureen was torn. Half of her couldn't stay here, she was revolted by the thought of keeping to one place for so long, and returning there day in and day out. But the other side of her longed for a place to stay, a safe place, somewhere warm. This was exactly what she was looking for. And she couldn't even imagine the look of hurt on Jay's face if she told him she wasn't staying.
Mo gripped the edge of the sink, a single hot tear rolled down her cheeck and she quickly wipped it away. This was nothing to get worked up over, you're pathetic Maureen... Pathetic. She told herself as she walked a bed and laid down. But Mo barely had anymore energy to think about these things anymore, she was asleep in mere minutes.
Raly had let himself doze off while sitting on the porch, his dreams riddled with mixed thoughts and confusion until he heard the familiar voice of his foster father, Boss. "Hey there kiddo, that's enough of them tears." Boss said as Raly realized he was watching a memory of himself as a kid. "I know it might seem unfair what happened at school today... but I want you to be patient with the other students... you might not know it by your first impression, but everyone has goodness in their heart... some just hide it better then others. I'm sure if you give the other children some time, they will come to accept you... and if they don't, then just be the bigger man and ignore their taunts." Boss said as he wiped away a tear from young Raly's cheek. "And if they keep on after that, you can always just bust 'em one in the nose." Boss joked, causing young Raly to burst out into laughter that woke Raly from his dream.
Raly looked up at the sky and smiled. "You always had a bad habit of giving good advice." Raly said as he stood up and went to bed.

Merc with a Mouth, the Crimson Nutcase
Appearance: Brown, rock hard scales, four foot tail, rugged, torn shorts, no shirt. Deep, cat-like yellow eyes, long snout and slits for his nostrils. Stands at an astounding 6'5", but only an average for his kind.
It was dark in the desert, the howls of coyotes heard in the distance. But one sound overpowered them all was the cound of Tae' Kol's chants. He and his peers were praying to the gods for safe passage of their newly dead comrad, Ni'ta, to the Afterlife. Their beleifs were much like that of Native Americans, and they practiced them regularly. Being a Religous Leader in his Tribe was a big deal, but being one at such a young age was unheard of. The Tribe Elders say that Tae' Kol has a strong spiritual connection to the Spirit Realm, wich provides his use of Magic. But for now, Tae'Kol and his peers were concerned with their land, seeing as the Humans were moving in on it and building over sacred grounds. The Tribe wouldn't stand for it, and have ben fighting with the humans for awhile now, but Tae'Kol sees this as useless fighting wich will get them no where.
(Wow, that was excellent! Thank you for keeping the Lagoes true to their characteristics, I haven't had a chance to show what a Lago tribe would be like. PM me if you want a war to be part of the story.)
(Please come back, I miss you.)

The time was then. A revolt was forming, and the Legoes needed a leader. Who else, then the lead stealth activist and Spiritual Leader, Tae'Kol. His tribe was ready to fight. They wanted to taste the blood of the Humans, but not yet... Patience... Tae'Kol's warriors consisted of Ten Trappers (Stealth people, they lay and spring traps.) And Twenty warriors (Self-explanitory.). They would move out at early dawn, The Trappers were already planning the Human's predictable movements and where to lay traps in their own town. The Warriors were practicing their forms, getting ready for their first battle in almost twenty years. The Time, was now.
Raly had woken up and gotten to work on his chores, hoping to get them finished before the sun rose and the day got too hot. "Chop fire wood... feed chickens... water the crops." Raly said to himself as he checked a list of things he had to do. Raly picked up an unfamiliar scent as he began work on fixing some of the broken farm equipment. "I guess Chambersville is getting some visitors." Raly said to himself, ignoring the new scent, thinking of it as some harmless settlers. Raly saw Axel and Oyoka on the roof. "Hey there! When you guys are done, how about you give me a hand with fixing this place up a bit." Raly shouted before he went back to work.

Mo awoke with a start, covered in a cold sweat and slightly trembling. She looked around frantically, then finally eased down putting her head in her palms. Nightmares. She had been having them for years now, for almost every night. But they were more like ghosts of former victims of hers, haunting her for what she had done to them. Maureen thought of them as nothing more than annoying shadows of her past.
She stood up and walked around the almost empty house. Mo could hear the muffled voices and footsteps of Raly, Oyoka, and Axel. Jay was obviously not awake yet, not this early, and not after last night. Maureen stepped out the front door and she instantly sensed something different. Something was out of place.
Curiosity eventually got the best of her. Her onyx colored wings spread, and Mo took flight once again. She only had a small idea of where she was going, but Mo figured she would go wherever her own senses, and the wind under her wings took her.
