Harry broke up with Ginny at the end of Book 6 just like he broke up with Cho Chang and another thing, Ron and Hermoine have not even hooked up in Book 6 so there's still a possibility for either R/Hr or H/Hr to happen in Book 7.

Once more, Harry broke up with Ginny for a different reason that Cho. He wanted to keep her safe. He still loves her. Blah blah blah. Saying it and reading that over and over, it is really sounding cliche.

Hey I like your theory, ndfreak! And as to everyone else, actually not EVERYONE else, but some people, I did this because I was getting so tired of everyone saying, "Harry and Hermione make such a CUTE couple!" And trust me I heard people say it. smile Catch ya later!

Harry has never paid any attention to Ginny for the past 5 books aside from the fact that he had to go down the Chamber of Secrets to save her but that's only because to him, she's Ron's baby sister. Now all of a sudden, Harry is head-over-heels in love with Ginny in Book 6? That didn't make any sense because it reminds me of those movies where the girl has a mad crush on this guy but he doesn't notice until she goes psycho on him.

This Harry/Ginny ship just came out of nowhere and I don't believe that they love each other.

Hpfan811-Hermoine fights with Ron more than she fights with anyone else.

One. Love blooms out of no where. Trust me, I know. Two, I've noticed stuff supporting Harry and Ginny, which this isn't the thread for.

Three.... People fight.... esp. couples... it happens. Ron just needs to learn to be more sensitive and learn how to not screw anything up. Once more, we don't have a say in this. It is all Jo.

They don't match, they have nothing in common, and they never get along so it's impossible for me to believe that they will be a couple. If JK Rowling wanted me to believe that these 2 were going to hook up, she should've: 1) put a stop to their sibling rivalry in either GOF or OOTP, 2) not allow the moviemakers to apply anything in the movies that made it seem like there is a possibility for Harry and Hermoine to be more than friends like its displayed in your picture, 3) JK shouldn't have put anything in her books that imply that H/Hr would hook up, and 4) She would never allow anyone like me to continue believing that H/Hr will hook up since she thinks that we're delusional.

Only book 7 will decide which 'ship will happen.

that is the only thing that makes them 'made fr eachother' isn't it?opposites attract.n although they hav nothin in common they do hav a feelin of good will towards eachother.ron's face swells up at the thought of hermione contactin krum n hermione wishes him good luck fr the match. they argue all the time cuz they feel uncomfortable with each other as they r attracted towards eachother

Believe maham has a point here. although I do not wish to join this argument which is obviously getting no one nowhereerm, I was reading and i just wanted to say that:

How about we all let this thing go and see what happens in the 7th?yes Everyone has their own opinion of R/Hr or H/Hr, let's then see what happens in book 7 then open a thread called "I Told You So"!

The 5 books only show that Ginny has a crush on Harry but no indication from Harry that he likes her nor is he aware that she even exists. Couples may fight but not every 24/7 because it is my experience that couples who fight too much has lead them to disaster. For example:

Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger
Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards
Ike and Tina Turner

Your right about Ron needing to be more sensitive to Hermoine's feelings because that's another reason why I don't believe that this ship will happen. I will take Roguewitch's advice and wait till the 7th book comes out so this will be my last post.

Personally, I don't believe that. I'm sorry to you guys, but, he's MALE. He's unaware. That's just the way guys are. I"m sorry but it's true. Now I'm not saying it's going to happen, I'm just saying it looks like it, because she is dropping alot of hints. This is just what I want to happen, but she's the author, she can do anything she wants. Please, don't get all mad, it's just a book. This is just imo!

Sigh... seriously, if I hear one more female bashing all males I'm going to take over the world with my squirrel army now. ATTENTION ALL FEMALES: NOT ALL MALES ARE UNAWARE! *points to self* Sorry hpfan, but I break your theory on all guys are that way. Unless I'm mysteriously not a guy. O.O No... I think by now I'm sure. Please no more male bashing. Now, back to your regular debating program.

What debate? Are you all STILL jonesing over this?

Hermoine and Harry aren't magically going to spring together. Harry has never shown to be attracted Hermoine. NONE whatsoever.

Good Lord, get over it.

Personally, I prefered Harry to pair up with Luna but whatever.

J.K. Rowling put Hermione and Ron together she ruined the books. Yeah, the bickered, they argued, and bitched. NEVER did they ever show any consent or feelings for the other until magically they did within the 6th book. How outrageously gay.

Oh yes, now that Hermoine and Ron are together the entire series is moot. God forbid, we focus on the plot, themes and oh I don't know the conflict between Harry and Voldemort...

Swear to God...

Sigh... we all still focus on the plot. We just like fighting over who should be with us because right now, any debate on plot seems to have gone quiet... no one comes on much.

Sorry lad, I saw it in early books. Course, it isn't really the thread to debate this over. The Offical Shipping Debate Thread is for that. This one is for why would Hermione and Harry be put together by JKR... heres the answer people.

SHE DIDN'T!

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to "male bash." But, girls do mature faster than boys (so it is said). Anyway, off the topic. Ron was never known to be a genius, so it may take him a while to be more sensitive toward her feelings. And if you think Ron hasn't shown many feelings toward her, fine, but he hasn't shown less than Harry. Still, anything could happen. (and btw, I heard and still do hear alot of ppl putting harry and hermione together in their brains. but i do agree she didn't! thus the title of the thread. why would anyone think she would? and i dont know wear the heck the shipping thread is.) chow.

Personally I don't think Hermione and Harry would work at all. Harry is too much of a hero, and Hermione doesn't seem like the kind of person to fall for a guy like that.
