Seems American media is in a bit of a rut.
The following would seem appropriate for something reported yesterday, but was actually printed in April

... of last year.

Sadly, YouTube deleted the clip I was originally going to put here.

Masterful film scene, though it's not immune to SOME good-natured parodying:

I've forgotten where these are from.
Think I might have it listed in my most infamous thread, but it's not worth it to bother checking at the moment.
It's a weird one, where, if memory serves, Guy Gardner somehow merged with Wonder Woman. And yes, that's supposed to be pre-Crisis Supergirl helping Batman out. Probably Justice League 3000. They made Kara a premier powerhouse on this team, too.
Strangely, they go for a lot of one-eyed symbolism in the art ...

Still, overall, they give Kara an aesthetic and powerful rendering.
I actually find it at least marginally preferable to the following offering from Worlds' Finest, for instance:

This'll seem to communicate a message I actually don't fully buy into, or necessarily at all. Or, if to any extent, to any real end of more than trajectory-we-were-on-regardless-of-who-got-elected consequence.

Generally, some permutation of Nicole Holcomb, Brooke Wells, and/or Jen Smith.
I'm most impressed that even when adopting most seated positions their athleticism remains apparent ...

... MOST seated positions.

As Jen demonstrates, even high level Crossfitters look quite ordinary and unassuming if they don't put SOME effort into their self-framing:

First picture features Madonna in the middle, and Roseanne Barr seated to the right/Madonna's left. That was from some Saturday Night Live (SNL) skit where Barbara Streisand made a cameo appearance and surprised the lot of them. I have no idea who the other person seated with Madonna and Roseanne is.
