Koenma sighed and looked up at both females. Then back down at his size 3 shoes. Then his cheeks turned red. He turned around and muttered something. He turned right into another room. From behind the door, there is a definite 'POOF' and koenma comes back out. Now however, he looks more like a teenager. "I knew I was forgetting something when I left the office...." He said still through rosey cheeks.
"Now, who are u 2 exactly? And why was my 'business associate' conversing with you?"

Kari fell back and stared at the new teen before them. She blinked, dumbstruck. She couldn't help but blush a bit at her little "accident". Still in her school uniform she stood up quickly and tried to straighten out her skirt. She groaned as she spotted a tear in it. "Great..." Kari glanced back up at Koenma, who on earth was he? Or what was he? "Wait a minute, I thought you were a midget?" Kari gasped and cupped a hand over her mouth, wishing she could take back the words as soon as they poured from her mouth.
Koenma just sighed at the comment. "Yea, I get that alot." He said really somberly. But then he shook himself to reality. "Anywho, who are you and why are you here?"
Kari was pretty glad he wasn't angry with her, a lot of people would be. She thought about his questions and suddenly looked down at her hands as she became cautious and shy again, her original nature. "I'm Minimano Kari, sir. As of why I'm here I... I dont know.." She looked down at her feet sheepishly, her eyes containing all of her emotions as her lips locked them inside.
Kiyo smiled a bit as Tai was struck down, almost in tears, something he could never do. "Prince Koenma sir.." Kiyo walked to Kari and put his hand on her shoulder. "Please don't give her a hard time.. Shes very shy and timid as you can already see.." He withdrew his hand and stuck it in his pocket. "I was following Tai, she knows the whereabouts of team Urameshi. But by the time I was discovered a demon attacked us.. Er.. Them for reasons I do not know. I think it was after Kari. But it's only a guess.."
Koenma just sighed at the sight. "Fine fine." His father wouldn't agree but, "You can take them to one of the rooms around this giant place" he said. He looked out into the cloudy beyond and gave a half smile. "Well it looks like I'm going to need you guys again." He said thinking about the gang.
Kari blinked a bit and a large anime sweatdrop appeared on her head as she felt the hand on her shoulder. She leapt a bit in the air and fell down upon the ground, her foot twitching. She sat up and rubbed her head, groaning a bit in pain. She glanced up at Kiyo and slowly slid back over to Tai's side, not feeling very comfortable without her near.
Kari froze a bit, she glanced at Kiyo and scooted a little closer to her. She felt very safe when she was with the ice ookami demon. The wolf protected her alot and Kari felt like she could trust her.
Kiyo sighed and turned. "You two can stay in the same room if it would make you feel safer." He said, turning back around. "I still have to show you to your room. I can't deny a direct order from The prince of the underworld." He smiled, gently taking her hand and walking towards the housing wing.
Kari trembled as he grasped her hand. She looked at Tai beggingly as she was pulled to her feet. With a regretful sigh she followed Kiyo, constantly glancing over her shoulder at Taisa, begging her to come to her rescue. She didn't like this guy at all. He freaked her out alot. She looked down at the floor, her eyes filled with pain and confusion.
He stopped at a room far down the hall and opened the door with a key form his belt. "Here you go, I hope you enjoy your stay.. And I'm sorry if I scare you, I scare alot of mortals. Seeing as how I can see and fight things they cannot see nor comprehend." He smiled, urging her in with his hand. "Just call if you need me." He said, as he looked down. "Sorry.. I kinda forgot that you don't talk.. Here, ring this bell if you ever want me.. Which I doubt.." He handed her the bell. "I wanted to talk with you.. Seeing as how you haven't been separated from your family as long as I have.. I've never known all the things you experience when your with family.." He whispered. "You see, Prince Koenma is basically all the family I have.. They knew I would be born, so they took me when I was born and raised me, I never knew my parents."
Kari watched as the keys rattled and fitted into the doorknob. The door turned and opened as she was pulled inside. With a groan she stepped into the room, looking around it. It wasn't too bad, but still, Kiyo wasn't giving her the best feeling. She held her arms and listened to him intently. As he handed her the bell she glanced at it, blinking a bit. She turned her head back up towards him and blinked again. Kari looked down and spoke softly, "It does not matter if they are your blood parents or not. That is not what a parent is. They are someone who does raise you, cares for you, helps you up when you fall. You did not know the people who brought you into this world, that is all. Parent is simply defined as one who loves an offspring, yet it does not specify what offspring. You have parents, you just never realized it." She lifted her head again and set the bell on the dresser, looking around the room for a bit.
Kiyo stared. "I guess I do.. Thank you Kari... You helped me more then you think.." He said, embracing her gently. He stood and walked out of the room. "Have a good night.." He whispered before closing the door.
