So our concern should be to mimimalize further losses if we are not racing with time? We have lost a number of AT-ST already, I think.

Well, Commisar may recommend the longer bombardment after the shield is destroyed then, especially that we now have two Star Destroyers over the city. Besides anhilating any organized defences it should decrease the Osokan morale and increase the morale of our Stormtroopers, who will see how powerless are Osokans against our firepower.

These guys have a skill of 10, so Rylis, you need a six to hit. Rolling 8, 10 and 15, that is three hits! Your base damage is seven.
I make that... eight attacks on Lyle, eleven on Arvus. They need 12 to hit Arvus, whose Combat score is not up to scratch so relies on guns, and 13 to hit Lyler . A 14 and an 18 on Lyle- base damage of seven- and a 13, 17 and 14 on Arvus- base damage of 5.
As it appears that artillery is doing good job in finishing the generator, Commisar would like to ask Nidar and Atar( and possibly Trebeis too) how long should the city be bombarded from orbit after shield is off and before the actual assault begins, as it is currently planned. Especially that now the blockade is non-existant and we have two Destroyers over the city.
"I agree that the opportunity to demontrate the full power of our new Star Destroyers should not be wasted, as Commodore said earlier, those mighty ships should cause terror to our enemies across galaxy. On the other hand, I understand that changing the city into bunch of ruins may not necessary make it easier for our infantry to take it."

Speaking of the blockade, I find it likely that, if we're going to bring in the Rebels, it's going to be when we catch them on the ground. Hopefully the Army will bring them in for us.
Coll watches patiently, knowing it won't be long until the shield generator is down.
"I judge about two hours, Commissar," Coll reports in. "It shouldn't take long at all. The Rebels failed to disrupt this part of the plan. They are doomed, as is this city."
What is the Assassin doing messing around in close combat, we wonder? Well, that's what poncing around in the jungle does.
Incidentally, if you think you are healing all damage before the war, then nope. This is fairly much counting you out of the battle, if you get dropped.
Now, of course, you guys aren;t heroes, but if you want to look at this from a player point of view, then one cannot help thinking that it may have been fair for the person who gets no disadvantages up close and happens to be wearing a ton of armour... that's Miss Hunty Bounter there... to have waded in and taken her share of attacks away from those who were going to get torn up. Not to mention the flamthrower- very handy against these things, up close.

By the way, concerning strategic situation, our PRIMARY goal is to take the Lanzar City in less than two days. It looks like we can do it. Secondary goals I noticed:
-killing, or preferably capturing alive Drakkon
-dealing with Rebels
-avoiding heavy losses on our side, especially material losses
-demonstrating the power of our new class of Destroyers to the galaxy through devastating orbital bombardment, though it may clash with other secondary goals. Pity that going with Nidar`s original plan would have ended in political disaster.
It seems that with generator being out of equation soon, we can further combine the efforts of Army and Navy- quick bombardment to destroy pockets of organized and heavy Osokan resistance( focusing on any known Lodges could be good idea as well, I think we have locations of at least 2), then Army finishes the job.
Concerning Drakkon, the main problem is locating him.
So we go with Coll`s plans (page 153 of this thread), though Commisar would look for input from any of our four senior officers.
