No they are not, which is why Anakin was basically breaking the Jedi Code, and that the marriage was kept a secret.

Seriously, did you watch the movies?

Dude... maybe you should read the books or scripts to the movies. Then you may understand them a little better.

Re: 10 worst things about the PT

This isn't a list of the worst, this is a list of Xyz being lame...

10. Um, how is he spoiled? He built it himself.
9. So?
8. Jar Jar I don't mind so much. People need to get over that.
7. Mace was badass and black, but who cares. So was Lando, with his pimp cape.
6. He's Count Tyranus Darth Dooku Marley. Get over it.
5. Padme is older than Anakin, don't care.
4. Padawan stuff? Jedi gotta learn somewhere.
3. GL likes to 'rhyme' his trilogies, get over it.
2. They were for the sake of the Clone Wars being shown, because they were mentioned.
1. In AOTC, Dooku is better. In ROTS, Dooku holds back slightly and then suddenly gets ****ed up when he's not expecting to because he's arrogant. Whoop-de-doo.

#10 Agreed. Maul was the best villain of the PT and really should've lasted throughout the trilogy.
#09 Agreed. Especially in Episode III, where the hell did all that technology go in the OT?
#08 I didn't find anything wrong with Jar Jar. He was funny.
#07 Especially since he didn't do much in the three movies. I don't come to this forum often but people actually ask that about him?! That's ridiculous, he died.
#06 I just remember him being called Dooku. I didn't watch AOTC very many times.
#05 Damn, the first movie it seemed like a five-ten year difference. Then the next two movies, Anakin wounded up older than Padme.
#04 The Jedi were practically extinct in the OT so we didn't get much of the Jedi ways. The padawan stuff was quite nice, I think. It showed how the Jedi were trained.
#03 It seemed to me in the OT, Jedi didn't even fly ships. And when Anakin lost his arm in AOTC, that was awful. Can anyone in the Skywalker family keep all of their limbs?
#02 They talked about the Clone Wars often in the OT. It was one thing in the PT I was looking forward to seeing.
#01 Dooku should've died at the end of AOTC. Keeping him alive was pointless.

All that technology? I prefer to think of it as not available to the Rebellion, since its just so...rebellious and not funded really. By ROTJ they actually have funding. You probably mean something else though...

Jango mentions being contracted by a man named Tyranus, but since he's working for Dooku, you assume he told Kenobi that to throw him off. Also, Sidious says something along the lines of "Welcome home, Darth Tyranus..."

I read somewhere a plausible excuse that the Naboo hit puberty very young and blow through it very fast, explaining why Padme looks like she's older than 14 in TPM, and then they stay relatively young in appearance until much later, which is why Padme doesn't look 27 in ROTS.

i feel jar jar binks is just misunderstood. as much as he's irritating and does not seem to make any utter sense, he's just a simple character with no evil or malicious intentions.

i think Lucas 'redeems' his character later after his 'humble' beginings in Phantom by making him Naboo's Senate Representative bold enuff to grant palpatine emergency powers in AoTC, a feat unimaginable for someone of his character.

in ROTS, he was one of the Delegation of 2000, and was there when the concerned senators gave the petition to palpatine (in the ROTS deleted scenes - Rebel Alliance series).

so let's not judge jar jar too harshly k? he deserve's to stand along side Chewbacca, the Ewoks..and Admiral Achkbar for tt matter.. smile

The technology I was referring to was all the droids mostly. Like in ROTS, the enemy ships dropped droids that were ripping apart their ships. Where did that technology go? In the "later" movies, they just had Stormtroopers.

I've never read any Star Wars books or anything so I'll accept that Naboo puberty thing as a good explanation.

I never let Jar Jar get to me like some people. I wouldnt say i loved the character, but i certainly dont hate him. Some people call themselves fans, then turn there back on Lucas sending him death threats? - Not even a prostitute would go anywhere near these guysroll eyes (sarcastic) they have no lives nor sex lives...
