nah i'm off the whole make ss a recomendation thread now, it was a pahse i guess, don't get me wrong we have been here ffor a while and having an * next to the link to our thread.......... but hey.
I just need to get some time to remind myself of what a recommended thread should look like (by browsing others)....we have so many it's hard to remember where I "draw the line".
What is the criteria for recommended threads? Because if its just the amount of scans/feats etc...some characters are just going to have more; such as Spiderman, Hulk, Surfer etc...as opposed to much lesser known like High Evolutionary, Winter, obscure characters. I mean, you would be lucky to find a 1,000 appearances of the High Evolutionary in every marvel comic he's ever been in. Spiderman is in like...1,000 comics per month :/
It's hard to say really. It was initially just created as an incentive system so that people would want to make good threads. If people start being too regimented about it, wanting specific percentages and/or feats, it'll be too much for me to do and I'll just get rid of it.
But I try to be fair. I take into account total # of scans, rough % of their appearences covered, and general ease of use of the thread itself (layout, information, and accessability).
This makes my 5th Respect Thread in three months that I can say are mine, as a high majority. (Loki, Firelord, High Evolutionary, Mister Sinister, and The Celestials). I've also contributed greatly to The Dr.Strange Thread, and some of Ghost Rider here n there.
Digi I think the Alpha Flight character respect threads should be placed in alphabetical order instead of under Alpha Flight. As I had a few people going through the main thread, not knowing about the seperate character threads.
