Homosexuality is actually featured in a couple of comic books, as they do try to stay (at least somewhat) true to the real world, and sometimes give a good example (although that does really not need to be the focus point of comics, far from it). And I'm just talking about the big comic companies. There are gay ppl in comics, so are there in real life.
Acceptance and tolerance, respect and equality, This are the message X-men comics are all about. One cannot say they deeply enjoy comic books that's about discrimination and how wrong it is, and not see how that translates to real life. Mutants, black ppl, native americans, jews, gays, asians... the list goes on and on. They're all minorities, often supressed or discriminated against. There's no difference. At least not in spirit (considering mutants are fictional).
There are gay characters in many comics as I said, they're just not often veery prominent.
DC has Midnighter and Apollo (think Batman and Superman being a couple) in their.... eh Veretigo is it?.... line. They are higly popular and prominent characters of The Authority.
Marvel ahs Northstar (although he unfortunatly seldom gets more story than "I am gay. Gaygaygay. Oh and a jerk. "), who's quite big in X-men and Alpha Flight. We have Hector, from Hulks Pantheon. Rawhide Kid. Karma from New Mutants, I think.
It's an interesting and bold move of Marvel to put a character already with an fanbase and certain notoriaty in this big type of comic and have him modernized to the rest of the world (yes meaning they're should be some more minorities in there) but we must remember it's still him. It's still Colossus.
There's perfectly rational explanations to the things u mentioned.
The humans started moving around and thus changed from the ppl that stayed at different places. New languages, features like diferent heights, skin colours, noses, eyelids etc developed differently after their surroundings.
And There's nothing odd about there being actual historical events described in the bible. How much of the rest is true or twisted is another story.
But I agree. Nothing we can say will affect each other's views. So let's stop.
So Here's an image of Colossus doing the impossible, breaking Magneto's hold on him (And the big Russikie's metal mind u) and beating the crap out of him.

Dammit I've heard a lot about that but never seen it. U wouldn't happen to have any scans, would u? If... that's on-topic... At least it's new-topic. And with Colossus so Semi-topic!
What an odd thing to say. "I am made of Rage!" Oh well.
Seems pretty badass though, hate to be Ord (is that his name?).
The second pic is perty.
I never saw that she was semi-phasing in it before.
Haven't got any Bloodline. Hear [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Mr Sinister's in it. And Mikhail. And that evil Rasputin dude from history (who conveniently appears to be Piotr's ancestor)
The reason he said "I am made of Rage" is that when Ord saw him standing behind him he says something along the lines of, "you think you can beat me just because you're made os steel?" At which point Colossus goes a bit beserk, says "I am not made of steel,...rage...." and you've seen the rest.
Yeah, his name is Ord, that is such an awesome volume, Im trying to get my hands on volume two, but as I live in the middle of nowhere, its not too easy.
Since I'm too lazy to remember the codes I go to the bottom of the page where it says "Forum Rules:You may post new threads
You may post replies
You may post attachments
You may edit your posts HTML code is OFF
vB code is ON
Smilies are ON
[IMG] code is ON"
There I press (well actually I open in a new window) the "vB code"
and there's a link to a complete list of vb codes including spoilers.
(Then I usually cut and paste .)
Thats a kinda weird coincidence, but he's not Swedish,[SPOILER - highlight to read]: He comes from another planet that he's trying to save from being destroyed, by wiping out all mutant dna on earth......he has his reasons
