One would wonder why the Surfer just didn't keep blasting im while he's down. They're reallllyyyy abusing the moron meter with Surfer just to keep im usable in Defenders along with the others....

Atleast they do it in such a way that you don't take any of it seriously.

Surfer himself looks and speaks like he's quite detached from the situation, like it's all just watching an ant-farm in a little tank... fry some, let others go about their work, none of it can hurt or in anyway affect him.
