Maul wasn't a bad character per say, he just wasn't fleshed out more.

The worst thing Lucas did was to kill Maul in the first movie. Maul had enough presence to let him live till the second one.

Fight wise, I don't rank him among the elites tbh. Clone Wars was very flattering at times, but just as damning too in ways.

Ditto on Clone wars. They brought him back, gave him some more time to shine as a villain, then had him go out like a complete b*tch, the final nail in the character's coffin.

Holy shit do I hate the little small talking quip question/answers Bendis puts in his comics.

Those pages are filled with so much unneeded repeated sassy dialogue that leads to nowhere. Just like every comic he ever writes.

He's up there for least favorite writers for sure. The only way that could be worse is if Land drew the faces
