well in x-23 new book. she gave up the position of the muramasa sword. some anti-mutant people one shot carol danvers for it and turned it into bullets. they used the bullets to kill oml, good guy sabes and deathstrike. but over in old man logans book, he got his ass beat by gorgon and company and got his adamantium hand chopped off by mariko who is the new "scarlet" samurai.
Lol, Mariko is back? She's that Scarlet Samurai? Wtf. What blade has she used to chop it off? It's muramasa too? Or not specified?
I saw some scans from that book, makes no sense - Daken had only 2 muramasa claws, while the comic shows us the full set (6 claws) and the broken muramasa blade.

the inconsistency is...palpable. Laura sucks as a Logan wanna-be, she was so much better as X-23. And Daken sucks as an anti-hero, he's better off a villain. Then there is this new younger clone of her called 'gabby" who recently overcame a brood infection via transmutation. Shit is ridiculous. They are a "family" now being chased by some anti-mutant or rather anti-weapon x people. You are also right about the claws thing but it might have gotten retconned or i missed it. Recently he grew his arm back complete with tattoos. Shit was lulzworthy...Oh and there is also ANOTHER Wolverine knock-off over in X-Men Blue. Some alt reality son of logan with blond hair. He sucks ass too
oh and to answer your question yes she is back. resurrected by gorgon as the replacement to the young teched out silver samurai who fought jane thor last year. he died and subsequently got resurrected in the same issue. despite that OML is a solid book. his characterization makes sense. Creed, Daken, Laura etc...are forced and they become knockoff versions of Logan in certain settings instead of being true to their characters

Yeah, at least the new arcs seem nice... Deodato is a damn fine artist and the writer doesn't seem bad either. Mariko should've stayed dead though, she's like Gwen Stacy of Wolverineverse. Much lesser impact, but still.
We don't know how she was able to slice through Logan's skeleton?

No. Im hoping its anti-metal or something akin to that. I dont wanna see adamantium nerfed like the celestials. Co-sign on Mariko. Some characters just need to stay dead.
Never let anyone else define you. Don't be a jerk just to be a jerk, but if you are expressing your true inner feelings and beliefs, or at least trying to express that inner child, and everyone gets pissed off about it, never NEVER apologize for it. Let them think what they want, let them define you in their narrow little minds while they suppress every last piece of them just to keep a friend that never liked them for themselves in the first place.
