she’s trying to defend herself in that panel; she jumps away. Scant panels after that, though, she just stands there and announces she won’t fight back.
It’s really stupid. Unless Diana is, like, ridiculously more powerful than Kara, which she isn’t in my opinion, making a punching bag of yourself for Supergirl is moronic.
It’s also ridiculously cliche. I’ve seen it a million times.
I bet people would call for your arrest and demonize you even for defending yourself.
Because people are assholes.
They'd find a DA or judge to side with them, too.
