Yeah I agree. I was kind of liking Moonstone as Ms Marvel. I sort of had a faint hope that Marvel might do something slightly unpredictable and actually have Moonstone win at the end of the story - but I knew she wouldn't.
Moonstone doesnt have personality? Ever since her run on Thunderbolts shes been one of the most interesting females in Marvel comics. Ms. Marvel has been stale forever, and Im mildly suprised she even still has her own title.
I be liking the the sex-obsessed vixens. Brings up fond memories. Especially considering that New York City is the setting. Moonstone is one of my top five favorite characters right now. Ellis and Bendis must have muses speaking to them because she is pitch-perfect. She is awesome. And just the realest character in comics today.
Thank you, I agree, though MAYBE to a lesser degree. Still its a shame how this fight ended. I hate PIS like that. Danvers needs to go. Anyhow its also a bummer that they have been hinting at a Moonstone/Daken fling for a while now. Oh well.
Agree with these comments. The fight ending was basically PIS - I can't believe that after all these years Karla's control and knowledge of the moonstone wouldn't be better than Carol's from a few seconds in her head.
I find Danvers a bit dull character-wise. No matter what they do with her it just doesn't grab me. I find Moonstone's development over the years since joining the Thunderbolts to be a lot more interesting. There is a place for Danvers in Marvel but for now at least I'd rather Moonstone have the solo book.
I've never minded non over-detailed character work, but I always hated the thing like in those nova scans- blue backround, red backround, blue backround, it just screams lazy to me.
