She took a bite of bacon the looked out of the window and saw that almost all the snow was gone. ''Aslan's almost back!'' she smiled happily,finished her breakfeast and left the dining hall. She walked upstairs to her quarters where the dress-makers were waiting to make her a gown for the ball.

**Back on route to the Charry Tree to See Aslan.**

Aslan sat regally beneath the abnormally large Cherry Tree, his big,beautiful eyes beaming at the group that approached him. As Adrianne approached he said in his deep voice.
''Greetings, fallen daughter of Eve. And a warmest welcome to Narnia....I am Aslan.''

''Umm... Hi there... I'm Adrianne...'' Adrianne tried to be polite but she didn't really know what to say to a talking Lion. ''Not to be rude.. but, why do you call me a Fallen Daughter of Eve?''
Aslan seemed to frown at this question. ''I'm affraid that that is a bit complicated. Sons of Adam and Daughters of Eve are what we call humans, but you are no longer quite human, are you?''

Adrianne shook her head and followed Aslan as he began to walk.

''You are now what we call a fallen human, because you are neither dead nor alive yet your soul is not in lost in a sort of Limbo either. Each one who is fallen has a choice to either join the side of good, or the side of evil.'' Aslan looked into her face. ''Have you chosen?''

''I think the good side would be where I would belong best. Afrter all, I was never bad before this happened to me.'' Adrianne said quietly.

''Good,''Aslan said as he looked at her. ''For there has never been a time when we have needed you most.''

Adrianne was confused. ''What do you mean? Need me?''

''I'm sure you have heard from your great grandfather, the stories of Narnia?''

''How do you--?''

''I knew him as a boy... that ring you're wearing was his, it got him to the world between and he fell through the same puddle that you did.. It was he who fell through the hole into the land of Charn, awoke Jadis, the White witch and unknowingly let her into Narnia. She then took over and made it eternally winter. The next visitors from your world were Peter,Susan,Edmund and Lucy, who stayed with your greatgrandfather and found their way here. Together, we defeated Jadis, Narnia was at peace again for many years as their decsendants ruled after them. But now, Jadis's sister Isis has decided this the perfect time for her revenge, as there is soon to be an empty thrown in Cair Paravel... The High Kings health is failing. Narnia will be unstable again and she will come to avenge her sister.'' Aslan frowned again.'' It is now that I must ask the worst of you, for the sake of Narnia. Go to the Witch and pretend to give her loyalty, we need you as a spy.''

Adrianne was shocked by this. ''Well... I suppose I have no choice...''

Aslan looked up at her. '' If you head south from here, you'll come to the most southern borders of Narnia. You'll be faced by the mountains and will have to take the Oufle Pass to the Archenlands. There you will be on your own for directions for we do not know where the witch has located herself and her army, but I'm sure that your new powers will aid you. You may, if you wish, bring a party, but be sure they know of the dangers. When you find the witch, promise your loyalty but of course do not let anyone know with whom your allegiance truly lies. ''

Adrianne returned to the group and told them what Aslan had said and waited for a reply.
