A few things I would want another trilogy to explore:
I'd certainly like to see Peter paranoid about Harry's death, almost akin to the scene of S3 where Harry disappears in the coffee shop. If Maguire isn't back for 4, and Gyllenhall is interested, then I can just see this scene playing out in my minds eye.

Bring Harry back! lol I dont want carnage but wouldnt mind venom now after seeing spiderman 3..but if he comes back then Harry's sacrifice was pointless..so scratch that dont bring venom back...Lizard, Scorpion and what the hell carnage!
Meh. I wouldn't mind seeing Venom again as long as Harry comes back. In fact, I want Harry to come back and for Venom to stay dead. Harry is so awesome when he is best friends with Peter like in SM1 and that part where he lost his memory in SM3. Imagine Harry becoming a super hero in the SM movies for a while. That would be amazing.

While Harry is an AMAZING character, he's not coming back.He straight up got stabbed AND buried.At least with Venom there is a little room for explanation bringing him back.If I saw Harry come back from getting stabbed and buried, it would get the huge "pfft" from me.
