"You are right, thats why we always hide in the forest, but I am sure the government will know by now that we always hide in the forest so we must head for a town this time." Karen said frowning.
Ace followed behind the group, she shied away from the newcomers, she had been stuck in that cell for as long as she could remember and was untrusting of those she had just met.
[Lex shrugged his shoulders he was ready to fight the government.He looked at the guy he was carrying why was he knocked out.]"Why is this guy knocked out?"
"At age six...my father told me what it was that I was going through..." Karen looked back up. "Both of my parents were mutants...guess I am a purebred, eh?" She smiled.
[Lex smiled back Karen seemed nice enough and she was lucky unlike him.]"well i do not know my parents so could could not tell you if i was one or not."
After a while of walking they finally reached a town, almost quiet thanks to the night. She led them into the town to look around for a place to stay.
"Guess we can stay here." she stopped in front of a motel and looked around her surroundings, watching for trouble.
"No, I can do that, you need sleep..." She said as she changed her appearance a little, so she would not be reconized. She walked into the motel office, totured the manager, and easily got 5 room keys.
"Ok, got some room keys..." She said as she walked back out and handed a key to Ichigo, Lex, Talia, and Ace. "I can share a room with Shadow, afterall I am watching him..." she held the last key in her hand.
Just great... Karen thought to herself as she took Shadow from Lex, carried him to her room and placed him on the bed. She then headed over to the chair and sat down hugging her knees as she stared blankly at Shadow.
Karen still sat there staring blankly and thought about what had happen to him when she last saw him. What if the poison was still affecting? What if the cure would fail...and he would die? A tear ran down her cheek, she kept thinking that John was right, it was her fault that he was going to die. Then she remembered what Shadow had suddenly said when she was making an offer to John. Great...he probably thinks I am a traitor...thats probably why he didn't speak..... she thought as she rested her head on her knees. She felt stupid now for what she had done.
Ichigo grabbed the key and put it in his pocket. "Thanks but no thanks. I think i'll stay underground on watch." He said smileing and began to soak into the ground, it looked liquified as he moved in disappearing little at a time. "When i get tired i'll go into the hotel." Ichigo said and then completely disappeared underground.
Majora walked the streets by himself, he felt relieved; he had just recruited another mutant. Majora heard a faint sound as Aaron teleported right in front of him. Aaron was one of his workers.
"Can I teach the newcomer?" Aaron said excitedly.
"Sure...now leave me alone." Majora sighed as Aaron teleported once more. He continued his walk and spotted a motel, he was a little hungry and wondered if there was a vending machine inside.
~I'll be back around 11pm. I have to go to this thing for my girlfriend. I'm leaving in a couple of minutes.~
Talia was scared for Shadow. He was in bad shape. She wasn't too fond of this Ace chic either. To Talia, it seemed like she was trying to take Shadow away from Karen. Karen wasn't going to let that happen.
"So. What's you guys stories. How'd y'all get in the camp," she asked Lex and Ichigo.
Eli saw Justice turn into a rat.
"Hey, get us out of here too."
Eli was confused. He thought that the cells nullified a mutants powers. But clearly, Justice just shapeshifted. Just then, he thought about Talia. Was she safe. Was she still with Jack or had she been caught.
"No," he told himself, "She isn't afraid to use her powers. If she was in that kind of predicament, she would be able to free herself and anyone else."
All Eli had to worry about was getting out of here alive and not getting abused again. He wasn't used to being in a cell, but just being in this camp was bringing back horrible memories. It was time to go.
Xavier and Bethany were scared. They were new to the whole mutant thing. Now, mutant police were after them. Xavier ran down stairs and told his parents what was going on. Bethany called her mom.
"You're a what," Xavier dad asked, confused.
"I'm a mutant. So is Bethany, apparently. Those two kids are, too. We have special powers and that's cool and all, but it turns out that the world is against mutants and now mutant hunters called the MPs are after us. Whatever you do don't open those doors," he told his parents.
Bethany parents were crying.
"Bethany, you don't need to do this. You can stay here and we'll protect you," her mom cried.
"Mom, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to be a mutant. I don't know how it happened, it just did. But I can't stay home. They'll come after me and I can't do that to you and dad. Not after what happened to Clara."
Her dad was on the phone now, "Beth, as much as we don't want you to do this, I can see that we aren't able to stop you. You do whatever it is that you need to do to stay alive. Just don't forget to call us every chance you get," her dad said sobbingly.
"Thank you dad. I love you guys," Beth cried.
"We love you, too," her parents said.
Bethany hung up the phone and realized that that may have been the last she spoke to them.

Majora continued to walk towards the motel not looking where he was going.
"Sorry..." He said as he ran into Talia. He bowed to her and then continued into the motels office.
