I also wanted to have a sweet SM3 sig that took advantage of my lack of sig restrictions. But I don't have the time to devote to it that I would need if I wanted to do it right.
So I guess the movie premiere won't be graced by my signature talents.
I see it today in about 2 hours....I've been avoiding KMC like the plague for a few days to avoid spoilers. So far, so good. And yes, I'm sure the movie will provide some inspiration.
I want to make a Harry Osborne sig now. He rocked in the film. The villain/hero team-up in Act III was priceless. Like it was right out of a comic....but not cheesy.
Jesus. Everyone has a Spider-Man sig right now. Well screw that noise. I don't need to have one right now to prove my fandom. I'll wait until it dies down, then pwnerize the world with more Spidey sigs (see also: stop being lazy).
And hell, I have 1-2 symbiote-related sigs lying around. I guess I could take the easy way out and re-wear them.
Trying out a few versions of this one. I might need to re-work it some before I wear it. I like the transparency better I think, but there's a few things I need to clean up around the edges, and I also need to make an avy.
And "DIGI" is actually in the sig, blended in to the tower in the middle. I didn't feel like including my name too overtly for this one, but it's hidden enough that it didn't seem to detract from the sig.
...there's still some white around the edges for those who are viewing it in KMC Black. But I didn't feel like putting in the tedious work to ensure the few pixels here and there would be gone. It looks good either way, but I use Light Blue, so I don't have to deal with it.
Cool. I still feel like including it, but I'll make some notation of "unofficial".
And I just like cataloguing these things. Competitions aren't really my thing in the sig community anymore because....well....there's lots of people better than me these days (especially when I'm out of practice and 3/4 of my sigs are Dino comics). But good times. I'll start planning my epic failure now.
Back when Dusty used to make the KMC Today Newspaper (or whatever it was called)...it had a "Signature of the Week".
I don't have the time or the interest to make a newspaper, but I'd like to reinstitute the "Sig of the Week" thing.
It would likely just be an OTF thread. But people could PM me their signatures and we could make it a semi-official thing, or I could just pick from whatever signatures I browsed through that were made that week.
