that does not make them cannon, alternate realities are refferenced in handbooks some times as well.

I'm guessing Whistler is dead in the comics. I'm also guessing that happened a long time ago.

noo, whistler was just a movie character, i don't believe he ever appeared i nthe comics, however Blade has had plenty of whistler type characters (Bible John, Jamal Afari, etc. )

Blade isn't featured yet in the new Ultimate Comics: Avengers. Does anyone know when he will be? Also, I found this earlier.

Supposedly Millar is a fan from way back so I think we can expect good things in that arc.

True, Millar does some good writing. I think the series has started off pretty well, the artwork is sick too.

that might've changed, i hear that the third arc is now a wolverine arc, and i can remember reading an interview where Millar mentioned Blade and Punisher in the second arc, it would make sense to put Blade on that Black-ops team with Ghost Rider.
