Right before that Blade tells Punisher that he's wasting his time in his crusade cause he's getting up there in years and will die. Blade on the other hand with his vampiric life-span could actually rid the world of Vampires: http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c...adeimmortal.jpg

Did you read Blade #9 yet? He made Union Jack look like a fool with his new weapon.(I'll let you find out for yourself). It was kinda cool. Also there is a reveal in it about the Order of Tyrana and their purpose. It's starting to get good now.

Blade's new book is surprisingly one of the most enjoyable books on the market right now
Unlike most comics nowadays, its actually a lot of fun to read, and Blade's characterization in it is spot on, seeing as he is no longer be written like a Luke Cage ripoff with teeth
I found a interesting aritcle on the Blade series on Marvel.com. Towards the end article they give some reveals on what to expect. It's the origin of the raincoat and the sun glasses he wore in the 70's!
Blade #12 The Story:FEAR-FRAUGHT FINAL ISSUE! And we're going out in style, tying up 11 issues worth of plot threads! What is Blade's father's endgame? Will Blade keep his gun-hand? Will the Tryana prophecy be fulfilled and, if so, at what cost? What is Dracula's dark secret? All this...and the conclusion of Blade's origin. All brought to you by Marc Guggenheim and Howard Chaykin!
Yea, I saw that today. I'm not surprised really. Guggenheim stated he's working on another Blade project. I just don't get why they canceled the series if that was true but judging by the cover to issue #12 it appears to be true.
