It is really hard to have a thread with certain characters, for instance Superman Prime.
For one, he has virtually no feats (apart from destroying Solaris and creating life by brinking Lois back).
All that remains is a lot of insinuation from DC on how powerful he really is.

For instance in JLA 1M it is said that when he returned from his journey through space and beyond that he was beyond power, more powerful than any meta EVER.
And note that this was BEFORE he spent centuries staying at the heart of the sun.
Thus it is alluded to that Superman Prime, even before going inside the sun, was (if you take what the comic states) the most powerful ever.

Then add to that the fact that through the covenant he made with his descendants he was able to amp up their powers to the zenith.

Case in point: Superman 1 million's powers primarily stemmed from Superman Prime granting them through the super-sun. This is why when he came to our present from the future his powers started to slowly disappear .....because he was away from the super-sun.

What is interesting, and one more reason why Superman Prime would win this fight, is that Superman 1 million was able to do what Trion could do ....punch through time.
Note: Superman 1 million did this when his energy reserves were drained! They were so low he was dying, he was aged, and he was almost finished before he managed to PUNCH through time all the way back to the future (several thousand years into).

Now, if Superman 1Million (who draws the core of his strength from Superman Prime) is able to punch through time and space, and to do so when he is so drained he has aged and withered to almost death, THEN WHAT do you think Superman Prime is capable of?

Superman Prime wins this.

However, the important thing is that people like Prime are not good for debate. All that is known is that he is exceedingly powerful (DC puts it that he is beyond power), and to add to the conundrum there are very few feats available.
Now, it is possible to gauge his power by looking at the abilities of Superman 1 Million (and then amplifying those to the Nth degree), or by looking at what DC put in print about Superman Prime (beyond power, the most powerful etc), and also looking at the fact that they said this before Prime spent a millenium in the heart of the sun (and we know what the sun does to Kryptonians, although in this case it is moot since Prime was already beyond power before he stepped into the sun).

HOWEVER, it is still not a good source of debate.

For one he is too powerful, and secondly there is a dearth of feats.

It is the same reason having a match between the Living Tribunal and Spectre, or between TOAA and the Presence would be a waste of time.
While facts and estimations can be made, all of them are too powerful and there is a lack of feats (yes, we know what LT can do ....but his depth of feats are not the same as those of, say, Spiderman or Wolverine or Batman. There are not as many).
Thus it becomes a 'debate' comprised of primarily allusions, estimations and extrapolations.

Anyways, in this particular debate, Superman Prime wins.
Why?
Because a weakened dying withered Superman 1 Million was punching through time and dimensions, which begs the question what Prime, already the most powerful accoridng to JLA 1 Million BEFORE heading into the sun for a millenia, and who gave Superman 1 Million his powers, could do.

However it would be a good day if fights between Prime and Character X, or between Spectre and X, or between LT and X would stop.
