Advice

Well I was going to post a picture and ask for your help but apparently I can't because I don't have enough posts. Is there any way to show a pic even if you don't have enough posts.

BTW: I tried putting it in the sig but its too big. They should really upgrade the max amount of KB allowed and the max pixels.

Attach the image to your post, you can do that.

We used to have larger pixels and KB, but there are so many members here with image signatures the the hosting for all of them is done on KMC's servers, which eats up a lot of space.

The second reason is for loading times, there are still people using 56k dial-up and we have to be mindful of them.

Hello! I am posting my first sig here, made other sigs before this but first on this forum. I was wondering what you guys thought of it on a scale of 1 - 10 and what I could add. Thankz.

BTW: If the pic is fuzzy its cuz I had to compress it bcuz it was too big to attach.

a) It's ridiculously large, make it smaller.
b) Shy away from filters, download some brush packs.

Could you direct me to a site that has these brush packages, Also I was wondering I have both Paint Shop Pro X and Adobe Photoshop CS2 9.0 which one is better for making better sigs,

BTW: This forum is great, replies are real fast. Good job people!

Photoshop is much better.

And check in the resources thread, there's links to pretty much anything you could ever need for sig making in there.

Well if you want to use the signature on KMC, it has to be 450px wide x 150px tall or less and 30KB or less. So, no, it's still too big (for here at least).

And yes, Photoshop is better to make signatures with.

It's nice, but you should work on the text, try to make it blend with the image more or give it a "stroke".

The right side of the sig seems empty, maybe get some more Halo pictures and place there (usually just one more will work) and lower the opacity way down so it seems like a ghost image.

And lastly, the render doesn't seem to be blended in, my suggestion is to take the Eraser tool, with a 100pixel soft round brush. Lower the Eraser Strength to 50% and lightly erase behind him and a tiny bit in front of him.

The font doesn't really match the theme.

Thankz

Thank you very much for your comments. Text has never been my strong point, don't know why??? Is there any tutorial that tells you how to make good text. Would really appreciate it.

Also, any other suggestions on making the banner better.
