And usm is not only bullsh!t compareing to sm2, it's just a bad game.
USM wasn't a sequel to SM2. That's what SM3 will be. It was a Spider-Man game, yes, but it had absolutely nothing to do with SM2. MGS3 is pretty much a sequel (prequel if you wanna get technical) so yes, I could compare it to MGS2 (which yes, it was WAY better). But like I said, USM was a stand-alone game that had nothing to do with SM2. So no, it is not a sequel and should stop being compared to SM2. It might've used the same game-engine, and maybe even similar character models, but so does EVERY platforming game ever made. Comparing USM to SM2 is like comparing Madden '07 to NFL 2k5 and saying that Madden is a horrible sequel to 2k5.. (Mind you I hate sports games, but that's the best I can do..) Do you see what I'm getting at?
I got your point but usm not only used the same game-engine and similar character models. This game was also made by activision. And everyone who bought this game was expecting superior version of SM2. And activision new it and used it. They only wanted to make easy money.
Oh thanks for the great big spoiler... and people compare USM and SM2 because USM is a rip off of SM2 but Spidey 2 whupped its sorry ass... Spidermanb 2 owns all hero games thus far... except maybe X Men KLegends 2 but Legends 1 is cr ap... way too hard!

yah i don't really like much of the ultimate twists like shocker they totally ruined him and carnage to horrible same with the goblins and just about every other ultimate villain i didn't like but hey i still liked the game lol i personally wasn't a huge fan of sm2 it was too short i liked usm better

SHOCKER SUCKED in USM. I'm sorry but Herman's an old man with vibrating blasters. SNORE! But you are forgetting one thing....most of USM is made of of complaints about SM2, like the city was nice....GTA nice, but still too small, the fighting was a little too hard, with all the memorizing to get the move you wanted, and basicly...not enough bad guys...and in SM2 when you fell in the water in Central Park, what happens? It resets, but in USM Spidey can walk just fine through Central Park lakes. There are other things but apparently I've already killed the game for ppl like Knightfall
Quite good, he is one of Norman Osborn top scientists and when the accident happens I think his arms get fused to his spine. And he blames Norman for his mechianl arms. I haven`t read much of Ultimate Spider-Man.

A future story and a crap Storm solo tale... not my cup of tea!Avengers looks like it should be good with Lionhaert of Avalon and Astonishing Spider-Man's always great! hich comics do you colect? I getall UK CE's except for Wovie and Deadpool, because though DP rules, the Logna solos look BS

True. SM2 took me 3 months cause I couldn't figure out part of the Mysterio leval. Stat of Liberty. USM was for new players of Spiderman. Was still totally worth it. On average all the kids in my school who played it finished the game in 3 days. Yeah then S.H.I.E.L.D. seperated him from his arm which he used for his advantage twice. a) in Ultimate six and b) in Holly wood. Both good.
